Hello again Defenders, good news, you can have more frames now.
Previously after about the 5th wave or so there was a noticeable and consistent lag spike, I've done some digging to find the cause of the issue and I have done some tuning, unfortunately it can't be completely removed as it would completely destroy any gameplay that exists, however it only becomes a problem now FAAAR into a run in the Labyrinth.
[*] I have also made it so you can now Deselect Defences and Guard Summoning Stones by essentially Selecting anywhere on the Screen that doesn't involve User Interface.
