Vai5000 joins Hyperhell as the 10th playable character! She summons memories which both block oncoming damage when nearby, and can be used offensively to create short range explosions! Her starting weapon is the NEURA BLASTER which is a reloadable 6 shot rocket revolver that fires as fast as you can click.
You can unlock Vai by taking any devil deal with a goat, or by typing oath5000 on the main menu. You can also unlock everything in the entire game by pressing 1 and 9 at the same time on the main menu.

-Tracey buff: CRANKIN DAT SCYTHE
Tracey Brakes can now press R to "crank" her scythe. This makes the next singular attack gain slightly more speed/range, at the cost of some slime. This can be stacked multiple times, meaning you can crank like 5 times to get a melee attack that goes across the entire screen. This is really strong for dealing with problem enemies like snipers and makes the Reagan fight a bit more dynamic.
-New temporary buff: RAGE
Explode into spikes whenever you take damage. Particularly good when combined with Vai's RMB ability that lets her take hits without losing health.
-New temporary buff: STINKY
Causes protective flies to be summoned upon picking up any item. Flies go away when travelling to a new level.
-New temporary buff: RABID
Gain a 45% fire rate bonus while you have an active combo of 5x or higher. Very fun on Fraxiom, you can get an absolutely stupid fire rate bonus with her RMB.
-New contract: PROPEL
Changes recoil to work more like folie's dash, where you get pushed for multiple frames. Very fun, especially on Tracey since her recoil pushes her forwards!
-GLASS contract overhaul: changed to DEVOUR
Previously GLASS would give 3x bullet power but double all damage taken. I thought this was too harsh a penalty so it now triples hunger instead. Renamed it to DEVOUR since glass doesn't really make sense as a name anymore.
-Blacksmith overhaul
The blacksmith now rerolls your weapon's projectile instead of applying a weapon tag. Because this is EXTREMELY powerful, he now won't spawn until you've killed Reagan at least once and you can only interact with him once each time he spawns.
-Shopkeeper tweaks
Shopkeepers can now be killed more than once! Killing a shopkeeper now also no longer makes future shops stay closed. However, each time you kill a shopkeeper, the fight becomes slightly harder. Shopkeepers can now also give all characters guns AND powerups.
-Tweaked some challenge cheat codes to be more evil
The cheat code "painpainpain" is now much more brutal, in addition to previous modifiers (way more heat, harder bosses) it now also gives all enemy projectiles more health, makes events (minibosses, clusters, etc) significantly more likely to spawn, and makes bosses spawn minibosses.
I also added a cheat code "skip100" which skips you to 4-100 at the start of your run. Now you can type "painpainpain", "skip100", and "chaoscontrol" to make your game completely unplayable!! ("vanilla" on the main menu to disable all cheats, or reboot game)
-Lots of QOL tweaks + bugfixes:
fixed tumult being free
buff sleepy by making it increase wait time between attacks for bosses
fix the DINKDINKDINK from coffins
buff clogger enemies
fixed bug where all yellow projectiles were parryable
slightly buffed bubble Darryl - more projectiles, less accurate
boss death voicelines now properly cut off taunts
made metalworker temp buff not spawn for tracey/grungo
buff charging railgun - it charges 50% faster and shoots 2x as many projectiles
item drops and level exits no longer get stuck in walls
clusters spawn a bit closer together, and no longer spawn in the middle of walls
parried objects (melee, barrels) now have a minimum parried projectile speed
fixed a glitchy contract spawnpoint on office
priests now drop a small passive buff container on death instead of a heart
webcage turrets now unaffected by superslowmo
removed mechanic where characters w/ no gun drops could also not get guns from shops/chests/slots
hyper bullets now more heavily affects melee speed
hyper bullets now increases laser weapon's scale (this can stack with BEEG)
fixed contract reroll text from saying incorrect price, free items cheat now works with rerolls
added proper slime notches to b2b
fixed b2b instantly melee attacking/throwing enemies when unpausing
fixed b2b infinite ammo removing enemy when going through levels
efficient now affects b2b - half meter depleted when throwing enemies
fixed bug where spice contract would not get removed from cleansing pools
