Greetings, fellow MINDHACKers!
The latest update adds Chapter 5 to the main story of MINDHACK!

You can access the new chapter from the end screen of Chapter 4 by following one of these steps:
Method 1: Select CASE 4: Scene 5 from CHAPTER SELECT and play Chapter 4 to the end.
Method 2: Choose any save file from LOAD GAME and continue playing Chapter 4 to the end.
Method 3: Start fresh with NEW GAME and progress to the end of Chapter 4.
Feel free to pick whichever method works best for you!

(Note: Certain save files that meet specific conditions might end your Mindhacker journey at the conclusion of Chapter 4. If that happens, use Method 1 to access Chapter 5.)

Updated features

Responding to player requests, the update also includes changes to typing mechanics for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. They have been updated from the previous command-based system to a typing-style system that matches with the English version.
Please ensure your keyboard input is set to alphabetic characters. The typing part of MINDHACK must be entered in single-byte alphanumeric characters.
*Typing mechanics for Japanese and English remain unchanged.



In addition, MINDHACK now supports Steam Cloud saves! If you’ve played the game on multiple PCs, your save files will now be unified. Be sure to check the pre-update precautions here: (URL)

To Our Chinese and Korean Players

In response to your requests, we are currently reviewing and refining the translations for the entire game. To better convey the charm of the characters, we’ve brought on new translators for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean starting with Chapter 5.

Please note that there might be slight differences in the translations between Chapters 1-4 and Chapter 5. For example, character names, tones of speech, or pronouns used between characters may vary from previous chapters. We’re planning to improve the translations of earlier chapters in future updates, so stay tuned!

Chapter 5: Hugo Patrick

A mysterious figure appears at the MINDHACK facility at night. Could he be a visitor from outer space? His name is Patrick Hugo, and he’s dressed in a spacesuit. Who exactly is Hugo? While he claims to be from a planet called “Earth,” what story do the memories deep within his mind tell us…?
