So, we hunkered down and rewrote the saving and loading system. It’s now way more stable and less sensitive to error. Some playtesters in the community have even claimed it has fixed previously softlocked save files. We’d like to believe the problem has been solved now, but we’d still like crash reports if they happen.
Thank you so much for your support!
Of course, that’s not the only thing this patch fixes.

We’re still working on these issues:
- Improving Knight and Battlemage-type Units
- Balancing Encounter difficulty
- Adding a sort button the caravan
- Fixing the music not resuming properly when loading the game sometimes
- Very rarely when Saving a downed unit, then quitting and loading again will cause the game to think that unit is still around in a weird (but not game-breaking) way
- Some of you just can’t control the game at all. This is a tough one, but we’re working on it
