Quick Reminder: If you aren't already aware, proximity chat is no longer broken! Why not give it a try?

This update brings the audio immersion up to standard by changing how all sounds react in different types of spaces, so now you'll really sound like you're there! On top of that, there have been some additional tweaks to proximity chat and many other smaller changes, additions and tweaks!

Update Notes
- Changed the default mic input threshold value to 0.2 so that mics will have an easier time picking up audio. (If you are experiencing mics cutting out, try reducing this value in the Audio/Voice options.)

- Changed the max microphone input gain value to 2.

- Increased the audible radius of the proximity chat.

- Added audio zones in every map to make all audio within the zones sound like they're reacting to the environment. For example, a long hallway having more echo/reverb than a small and enclosed room. This addition also impacts proximity voice.

- Added a subtle doppler effect to the proximity voice.

- Increased the damage of the Goofy Rifle and the Goofy Dualies.

- Added physics to the punching bags (still subject to tweaking).

- Smaller lights will now cast shadows if Shadow Quality is set to High or Epic, instead of just Epic.

- Squeaky Hammer knockback has been reinstated. As the Juggernaut is now able to fight back, the knockback is no longer a big issue.

- Disabling motion blur now also disables the radial blur effect that's used when going fast.

- Christmas gifts now inform players to drop/swap their item before trying to claim if they're holding an item.

- Fixed an issue where players could break their ankles in the ballpits when using the big slides.

- Fixed an issue where Dodgeballs wouldn't reclaim if the player had stumbled.

- Fixed some issues within the Character Editor menu.

- Fixed some gamepad issues related to the UI.

- Fixed an issue where selecting a map in the multiplayer menu would simply not load the map upon entering the level.

- Adjusted the item pickup prompt, now informing players to hover their crosshair over the item to pick it up.

- Added a delay to the Back button in all menus, to prevent a spamming issue.

- Added some invisible walls to prevent the player from un-crouching when there's still something in the way.
