Idler Fest AI Points

To celebrate Steam's Idler Fest there is a 300 AI Point code to redeem for the duration. Enter this code on the settings screen:

Other Notable Things

  • New Module Queue AI Upgrade
  • Upgrades and scaling around sectors 90-94 tweaked to make R3 a bit easier
  • Several minor tweaks to various tutorials and on boarding spots to improve the new player experience

Whats Next

Unstable Transit has not changed with this patch, the next patch will be focused on changes and improvements to that.

Also coming up is a bigger set of improvements for newer players. I really want things to be understandable without a guide and a few spots fall a bit short in various ways.

Going hand in hand with working on those (largely the latter), we will be doing an engine upgrade that will improve a ton of things and enable us to really do a full UI rework.

  • Sector content up to 125, Bunch of new end game upgrades and 5th Galaxy added
  • New Ship Design: Retro Future available for purchase
  • New temporary code "idlerfest" for 300 AI Points, good until Feb 10th
  • Fleet Repeat Run AI upgrade removed and instead built in, AI Points refunded if you bought it
  • New AI Upgrades: Module Queue, Fleet Repeat Auto Improve
  • Warp Shift removed as a mechanic, you now just have access to all warps, corresponding upgrades removed
  • Adjusted some upgrades and scaling around Sector 90-95 to make R3 a little easier
  • Auto Advance option made into an AI Upgrade, if you played before this patch you have it automatically
  • Added an indicator to time estimates that include Siphoning if that is on in most cases
  • Improved order for AI unlocks
  • Fleet Player fighter damage nerfed slightly
  • Fleet Enemy sniper damage and health nerfed slightly
  • Fleet Resources are now instantly granted on new high sector instead of requiring a reinforce
  • Added indicators to enemy fleet ship icons for damage types
  • Unstable Transit now awards 85% of your best results at minimum
  • Adjusted accumulation bar progress indication
  • Tooltip titles more prominent, round 2
  • Added notification when unlocking new shard slot
  • Base Auto Upgrade stays on through Reinforce
