We updated the Experimental application. Check our web article for information.

This Experimental release is available exclusively on Steam. It is still very much a work in progress, and we cannot guarantee stability. For this reason, we have decided not to release it on Xbox, where an increased crash rate could jeopardize the availability of the Experimental Application on the platform.

Experimental releases are primarily intended to gather player feedback, allow modders to prepare for upcoming updates, and enable us to deliver changes more fluidly. Since Steam Experimental Application player counts are significantly higher than those on Xbox, and modders work exclusively on PC, we decided this platform would be better suited to this release.

  • Fixed: Crash when ReplicatedCamerasSystem is not present
  • Fixed: Crash when turning on a radio broadcast while RadioBroadcastManager has no tracks
  • Fixed: Performance issues when controlling a compartment overriding another one on a vehicle with complex entity hierarchy
  • Fixed: Crash on pathfinding by using NavLinkIDs instead of instances
  • Fixed: Crash on virtual road connections
  • Fixed: Crash in WeaponSoundComponent if the weapon owner entity disappeared before the weapon activation task was executed

Audio

  • Added: "LooseLayer" variations for rubble footsteps

Workbench

  • Changed: Timeout during addon upload will now retry instead of completely failing the process of upload (T182526 + T188248)
