It's been exactly one year since we released Time Glitch on Steam, and we wanted to celebrate that by pushing an update for the game.
This update brings two major additions:
- controller support
- a helpful new screen to find all story branches
As well as a bunch of smaller quality-of-life enhancements.
Check out the full changelog below!
Changelog of the 1.1 update:
- The game is now fully playable with a controller and on Steam Deck!
- We added a new Hints screen in the menu, with the one and only Time Lich helping you figure out how to reach those timelines you may have missed. This should be helpful to get that eluding 100% completion achievement
- The way the game counts timelines changed slightly to account for quasi-duplicates. You might get the 100% completion achievement immediately if you've played the game before
- Dice information is now displayed in its own panel, above the story text
- Added a confirmation screen when pressing the Quit button
- Some helpful instructions appear the first time you have to roll the dice
- Speech bubbles are now in the same colour as the character speaking/thinking/screaming
- Text in Tabletop mode is slightly bigger and more readable
- Dice in Tabletop mode get bigger when hovered and grabbed
- Removed text 1+ from Initiative roll
- Line spacing was decreased for Accessible font
Also huge Thanks to @LeeneOfficial (from Placeholder Gameworks) for making us really cool Time Glitch themed dice!
