Version 0.5.3 Update Notes


Gameplay Improvements

  • Players no longer share gold in multiplayer.
  • Gold is now displayed in player HUDs and the updated shop UI for better visibility.
  • Enhanced enemy attack signals for improved visibility and telegraphs.
  • Improved and tuned the voices of all elemental bosses.
  • Adjustments to boss attacks for better balance:
    • Earth boss ultimate is now easier to dodge.
    • Water boss ultimate attack duration reduced.
    • Lightning boss spinner attack now clearly shows projectile direction.
    • Desert boss sand beam damage interval increased.
    • Castle boss ultimate duration reduced.

  • Multiple network optimizations for smoother gameplay.


User Interface (UI)

  • Key rebinding confirmation now shows button icons instead of names.
  • Added an option to reset settings to default.
  • Improved UI polish and resolved text overflow issues.
  • Fixed player info icons for PlayStation controllers.
  • Updated arcana slot UI to accurately reflect locked status.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Duel wizard not spawning if the location was inaccessible.
  • Resolved contracts becoming non-functional if the player was revived.
  • Fixed multiple items being highlighted in the arcana enhancer.
  • Corrected ownership of the first outfit provided by the game.
  • Fixed an exploit allowing infinite gold with Morideon's Necklace and relics increasing max HP.
  • Addressed confirmation popups being canceled when clicking outside them.
  • Enhanced arcana crystal offers now display proper icons, descriptions, and costs.
  • Minor polishes and fixes in shopkeeper chunks.


Multiplayer Fixes

  • Player ground indicator is now visible only for local players.
  • Added new map icons for co-op players.
  • Fixed issues with second player spawning outside the camera frame in local co-op.
  • Resolved result screen not appearing if a player was revived with Spectral Hourglass relic.
  • Fixed getting stuck in loading when a client logged out during the process.
  • Addressed player ghosts spawning at the level start and fixed their rotation.
  • Prevented castle spear miniboss from spawning if a player is outside the arena.
  • Fixed client falling through the ground in tiny spirit levels.
  • Resolved contracts being saved per language.
  • Corrected run summary displaying incorrect relic and arcana information.
  • Fixed interactables not registering when players were nearby.
  • Updated player info to display medallion details and wizard names correctly in local co-op.
  • Fixed snake trap sound not playing for client players.
  • Corrected arcana and relic traders changing items upon multiple interactions.
  • Addressed client accessories remaining in the server world after leaving the game.
  • Fixed color not applying fully to male character capes in local co-op menu.
  • Reduced net update intervals for characters, critters, and breakables.
  • Fixed dialog control issue in local co-op, allowing all players to interact.
  • Corrected client scaling on the first floor of the hub.
