Deckbuilders, the moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here—INFEST has officially left Early Access! After over two years of passionate development, endless improvements, and incredible feedback from our community, Version 1.0 is ready to take you deeper into the roguelike deckbuilding adventure you love.

What’s New in INFEST 1.0?


Since our Early Access launch, INFEST has undergone major transformations to deliver a deeper, more challenging, and more polished experience. Here are just some of the changes we’ve made along the way:
• Added overworld names and changed the overworld pathing for more strategic choices.
• Improved tutorials with expanded tips for smoother onboarding.
• Added confusion indicators to aiming lines for better clarity.
• Reworked transform cards to automatically affect multiple element types.
• Increased the area of effect for toxic gas clouds.
• Difficulty balancing: The game is harder, but fairer!
• Enhanced performance and fixed countless bugs.
• Addressed sound issues: no more overly loud effects!
• Water now conducts electricity that can harm enemies.
• Lightning strikes now land the first bolt exactly at your cursor, and create electric sources.
• Oil physics improved—it now separates and floats on water.
• Double bombs no longer collide with dead enemies.
• Fully reworked the block system—blocks now stop entire attacks, including status effects.
• Gain block for luck and combos, making every move count.
• All characters now start with 8 cards instead of 9 for a tighter deck-building experience.
• Introduced new electric bomb props for exciting interactions.
• Bombs and switches now display properly over liquids.
• Levels optimized with more water and better design flow.
• Slower-growing plants for improved pacing.
• Improved card deploy sliders for accuracy.
• Added the ability to delete your current run in game settings.
