Hey Keepers!

We’ve been blown away by the incredible skill and perseverance of our community—many of you have surpassed the highest nights we ever expected in the game! However, this has revealed an unexpected issue: after Night 80, the spawn rate mechanics caused fewer enemies to appear, unintentionally decreasing the difficulty instead of increasing it.

We will roll out some significant changes to address this and ensure the game remains challenging and fun:

What’s Changed:

Minimum Spawn Period: Enemies will now spawn at highest every 0.5 seconds.
Night 51+ Adjustments: Enemies won’t spawn faster after Night 51 but will increase in difficulty by scaling hp.
HP Scaling: Starting from Night 51, enemy HP will increase by 5 each night.
These changes ensure the game remains challenging after Night 51.

Highscore Updates:

We know how much your highscores mean to you and the community. Removing all highscores would be unfair to those who worked hard to achieve them, but leaving unreachable scores up could demoralize new challengers.

Here’s our solution:

Highscore Adjustment Offer:
If you have a highscore above 55 nights and there’s no highscore above yours that’s under 55 nights, you can request us to delete your highscore.
As a token of our gratitude, we’ll reward you with a unique Discord title for your contribution to keeping the leaderboards fair and competitive.

Additional Patch Notes

Balance Changes

  • Lightning tower hitting players if no enemies present was meant as a fun gimmick. But it caused a lot of new players thinking they found a bug. So we decided to remove it.
  • Shop: Increased chances for lower tier items
  • Totems that grant secondary damage now stack

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug causing less enemies to be spawned after day 80
  • Fixed a bug causing totem shop not showing duplicates in some situations
  • Fixed a bug causing some waterbowl colliders to be lower than other items.
  • Winter weapons: Fixed t2 double cannons not hitting some enemies
  • Fixed a bug causing players to load the game for free rerolls with specific totem combinations
  • Fixed a bug causing players to be able to start practice mode while another player carried an item
  • Fixed a bug causing players to be able to start practice mode while a gift was shown in shop
