This patch addresses issues with the New Year event introduced in version 1.4, fixing a discovered UI bug and implementing several minor gameplay improvements.

Fixes and updates

• The CRT effect no longer appears when the corresponding setting is disabled
  
• The introductory dialogue no longer plays during repeat visits to the same location within a single game session
  
• The end-game message now also appears after successfully completing the event
  
• End-game messages are now localized based on the selected language
