Update notes via Steam Community
This has a lot, the main reason why the file size went up so much was due to the trailer being added for the Arcade Cabinet mode.

Note: If you build an Arcade Cabinet, you have to use stuff like Arduino to emulate certain mouse and keyboard controls, and to read and return certain variable values for stuff like Jackpots. I will not provide ANY hardware support. There might be some software side bugs to remove too as well, but it mostly works perfectly when tested.

Arcade Cabinet mode
This mode can only be accessed by pressing "7" on the language select screen to boot into the Arcade Dev Menu. This is mostly since it drastically changes the main menu to be more like an Arcade machine.

Arcade Cabinet dev mode
  • Allows the default game mode to be selected to be changed.
  • Changes the required credits to play.
  • Changes the tickets given to the jackpot after each game, with how much divided with the main score to add.
  • Reset the localized Leaderboard.
  • Enable or disable auto start for the arcade mode on the game boot.

Every game mode already made has had an Arcade Mode version added, and once selected in the dev menu, it will auto boot in that game mode upon game start.

In the arcade game menu, the 7 key will return to the dev mode.

Jackpot system
  • Takes the score and divides based on the decided dev mode selection for the number and adds it to the score. The person who gets a high score will automatically collect the jackpot and it will reset to 100.
  • The Variable "WonJackPot" in the Arcade Results screen stores the Ticket output when a Jackpot is returned. If you wish to use tickets, then you have to get that variable for ticket output. When there is no ticket output, it will always be 0.

Localized Leaderboard
  • Shows up on the results screen and the main menu.
  • Allows for Initials to be inserted and connected to the game score submitted to the leaderboard.
  • Can be reset in the dev menu
  • Only top ten scores are shown.

Required stuff to know when building an Arcade Cabinet for what to emulate with joystick and buttons:
  • Purchase the commercial license if you plan on setting one up for commercial usage. Outside of that, I don't require any payments if you plan to make money from this.
  • 7 key to enter dev menu.
  • Mouse Movements for the main gameplay.
  • Spacebar for Start button and the main action button.
  • Mouse wheel up and down for selecting initials.
  • 1 key for getting credits. Set up for quarters, for anything else, have it activate the 1 key for each 25 cents.
  • For the trailer to work for the background, have the 6 key pressed every 0.5 seconds. This forces the game engine to see there is input to force auto play for the video.

Why do this?
I had the idea to make a custom arcade machine for a game or two, mainly to see if there was a market or not. Not fully sure if I will end up doing it or not, but this was good practice to get it to work coding wise on the software side. But even if I don't end up doing it, I want to release it for anybody else who wants to do it with a way for them to get a commercial license if they want to set it up to make profit. It only took 2 days to add all of this, so it's not much time if it ends up being a total waste of time due to nobody using it.

If any other game modes are added, then they will be added to the Arcade Cabinet Mode to be selected in the Dev Menu.
