Hello the new update is finally here, here are all the changes and new stuff
here is a video explaining it





Better dodging system

If you are in first person you will always slide and stay in first person and in third person it will be the roll, also it now boosts you forward properly. Also changed the animation depending on what direction you are going.

New gun- ak47

This is in the armory like the mac10 but you can only hold 1 secondary at a time, either mac10 or ak47.

Better xp system

You will now get different amounts of xp depending on what monster you kill or quest. You can also get negative xp by doing evil stuff. Also the perk Investor now multiplies a random number between 1.2-2x instead of always being double. People were able to unlock everything way too fast and it made the birdman too easy.

New mystery crates

There are new crates around the map that you can spend xp to spin and get a random item. Each time you spin the price will go up. New items are Night Vision, Free ticket, Socks, Dragon’s Breath, Mac10 extended mags and Brighter flashlight with no battery.

4 new boss fights

Deformed Squid, this is after the birdman. Not very complex but there needed to be something else to shoot after you just got your new gun.

Gas- This has replaced the invisible monster, You must survive in the room for 90 seconds while gas monsters constantly spawn in.

Scrap Stitch Man- The monster banging in the gas chamber can now be let out. He is very fast and has 2 phases. This is now the only monster that will always insta kill jumpscare you. On his second phase he will hide somewhere across the map and infinitely gain health until you find it.


The Ripper Dripper - A very strong monster that has 3 phases. He has many different attacks and abilities. It is not meant to be killed on your first run, In the future I will probably lock this area off to anyone who hasnt completed a game yet.

The monster changes

The monster can no longer attack you if you are sliding or dodging. Also it can't jump scare you if your health is above 100. Its second phase has been fixed so it doesn't heal past 70. It can no longer smell you through walls and its sound will get more muffled behind walls or floors so you can sense where it is easier.

Gun system

Much more optimized, You can now shoot the animals in the cage and shoot lights and shoot doors to open them. Also improved the fx. Blood decals will now spawn on the floor and better muzzle flashes and smoke.

Healing system

Healing past max health is still in the game but it will tick down 1 every second until your back at your max health. Also improved the fx so it is less distracting. Health is much more useful now as everything is based on damage instead of instakill (except scrap stitch man)


Map and model Improvements

Certain parts of the map have been redone and with more details to help the player be less confused. The area after birdman has been extended with doors that will randomly break with small monsters inside. Fixed some props and optimized certain things. Redid hair for Dellah and Sarah and fixed some clothing and texture problems.

4 new side quests

New quest with dellah on quickstart, small quest for the doctor in the power room, Lenna quest has been redone and 1 secret quest. Also the intro part with turning the power on has been redone to make it easier for new players to understand what to do.

Cinematics

Added a few more computer movies and switched to names instead of dates. Also Redid and extended some parts of the intro cinematic and flashback cinematic. There is also a new cinematic when you give Leena the baby. Also a new cinematic after you kill the ripper dripper and a new cinematic for dellahs side quest.

Talking system

All the dialogue has been changed slightly to be more efficient and now uses text instead of string. The characters now have unique talking sounds. Also changed the skip button to be left click instead of space. Also fixed some character restarting after you already talked to them. And new camera animation and head center fx when you talk.

Options

Added sensitivity slider and brightness slider. Also added option for v sync, fps limit and controls will now save properly so you don't have to redo them every time you launch the game.
The game is now more playable on controllers but menus and ui stuff wont work. I will still work on this but for now this game is still only keyboard and mouse supported.

New xp and coin shop

The cosmetics page has been separated from xp shop and is only on the Main Menu. There are new gun skins and clothes. You can now change the lab light color from green to red and white. Also added a freecam so you can fly around in slow motion.

The xp shop is only in the pause menu now. Also the price for extra perks has been raised by 50xp. Also better ui and animations. New perk- resupply. A 20% chance to fire without using a bullet. Removed stamina upgrades. Double tap chance has been lowered.


Other changes


Shotgun suppressor has been removed

The beast fight is now way more optimized and will get double the fps

Added a new smaller monster - crawler, they spawn randomly after Selim is dead

You can close menus with esc key now

Difficulty has been removed and replaced with optional game mods

Rats don't spawn randomly anymore, they are hand placed so they won't get stuck and they won't move now unless you are in range to save performance.

Redid leaderboard system and ui.

If you are playing with best settings the lights will be visible from farther away and also emit light farther radius so everything is overall brighter and more visible. Although none of the lights are baked so this will lower fps more.

Birdman is now slightly faster and has slightly more ranged but reduced damage from sword attacks to 25 from 50 and removed damage from chain pulls

sewer man now only blocks at max 5 times, some people were getting extremely unlucky with him blocking almost every rock at random

Changed the lighting of some things, the flashlight will now be half the color of the lab lights and white.

Ammo will now spawn separately between shotgun and you secondary weapon

you can no longer jump and slide at the same time

Separated monsters between black blood and red blood

Added more animations to doctors

Redid the map collision so it should be impossible to fall out randomly

Fixed bug where monster would turn on every light in the game making fps low

Added more tips and option to disable them for faster loading

Game will automatically restart instead of going to main menu
Added lab notes and more posters

Paint drinker will now spawn disk if you shoot him, Too many people didn't get to see the computer movies

Trip mines are now off after the intro and you must manually activate them

Lights now hum at different frequencies when you pass by them

Flashlight is now more wide and has consistent falloff so people will no longer be overly bright bright or overly dim, third person will be way more playable now

You can change where you respawn using respawn switches around the map.

Fixed lots of bugs and optimization problems and other changes I can't remember and secret stuff
