Dear PGMMV Users,

Thank you for your continued support of PGMMV!
Version 1.0.6.13 is now available for download via the Beta channel!
In addition to a few fixes, there are 2 functions being added with 1.0.6.13.
The first is the addition of Invincibility duration to the Received Damage settings. This will allow configuration of different invincibility times based on which type of element hits the Object, making invincibility a much more flexible feature to use.
The second new feature affects Fields of Vision. Previously, they had a fixed direction and would not change based on Object orientation. With 1.0.6.13, Fields of Vision will now update according to an Objects orientation. This should make all kinds of functionality much easier to implement, for top or side view games!

  • Added Invincibility configuration settings to the Received Damage settings.

Player

  • Fields of Vision now rotate to follow Object orientation.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause child Objects to lose track of the parent’s instance ID after a portal is used when the parent is the Player.
  • Fixed a bug that could prevent bullet Objects from functioning correctly when set to use the “Shoot at the Selected On-Screen Object Group(s)” setting in some situations.

To apply this Beta version please change the branch to 1.0.6-beta via the Steam library.
Also, we remind users participating in the Nintendo Switch publishing program to continue using the 1.0.6-switch-beta branch when working on Switch builds.

Caution: We strongly recommend backing up your project before attempting the following.

1.Go to Steam Library, right click "Pixel Game Maker MV" and select "Properties".
2.Click on the "Beta" tab, select the target version from the Beta Participation menu and close "Properties".

[Reverting Back to Default]
Follow the instructions below to switch from the Beta version back to the previous version.
1.Go to Steam Library, right click "Pixel Game Maker MV" and select "Properties".
2.Select "None" for Beta Participation and close "Properties".
