Patch Note


This patch brings some optimization to frame rate, expect more to come in the future in different shapes and size. Let us know if you notice a difference! We are beginning to revamp ship abilities and augmentations, so that earlier choices augmentations lead to mechanical additions first, and stats later up the tree. Let us know what you think. We are playtesting every Sunday, request access on the store page or by joining discord and asking for a key

General Changes

Economy

  • Increased starting Occo from 500 to 1000
  • Increased gold difference growth per minute from 2% to 3%
    • the comeback mechanic is based on how far ahead the enemy team is and that value grows overtime
    • individual performance also plays into bounty amount, where a players on a kill streak without dying provides larger base bounties

  • Bounty

  • Backdoor Shield generation now is reduced more per nearby enemy player

Minions

  • Bounty
    • Siege - no longer gives Occo bounty

    • Small, Medium, Large, and Siege Minions gain 100% speed over 40 minutes of gametime

  • Siege
    • Max health changed from [1000-6000] to [1300-10,400] over 40 minutes
      • Scaling of max health is slower at the start and accelerated later in the game

    • Base damage increased from 100 to 130
    • Now deals 100% bonus damage to main structures, like it does to Towers


Harvester

  • Now when a harvester completes a trip (returns to the Salt Core), two Siege Minions are spawned for that team
  • Bounty from Harvester returning reduced from [1000-2500] to [500-2000]
  • Bounty from killing a Harvester rescaled from [500-1250] to [400-1600]
  • Gains 30% additional speed over 40 minutes of gametime



Utilities Changes

  • Repair
    • Now any un-used healing is given as Shield
      • example: if repair heals for 900, max health is 1500. and you currently have 1000 health. before you would heal and go up to 1500 health, which still happens but now you get 400 Shield
      • Using Repair now also stops the decay of Shield on use
      • This change was made to give Repair more uses outside of simply healing lost health and can make low Reinforcement builds with a focus on Repair more interesting. Especially when paired with certain ships…

          • NEW: Fires 3 projectiles that deal 60% less damage per projectiles (but 20% MORE damage overall)
