Update notes via Steam Community
The player progression system has been further implemented, with it's changes reflecting throughout the build.

  • UI/UX Changes during the Level Up state.
  • Player perks now applied.
  • UI Stat window displays player perks.
  • Player abilities directly tied in with perks.
  • Experience gained is not lost upon death & directly ties within attribute distribution.
  • Kill count is lost upon death & directly ties within skill set distribution.

Players begin with the following 3 perks,

Sprint,
Evade,
Powerstrike.

These of course are your abilities to carry out during combat. They, just like others unlisted, are unlocked and applied to your character build during the level up state. Sprint & Evade are tied in with the SPEED Attribute. Powerstrike, tied in with ENDURANCE attribute.

It's possibile to redistribute these attributes during the level up state, along side your newly aquired attribute points to spend. However, do keep an eye on what perks are removed or added during this phase, as you'll not be able to reapply until your next opportunity to level up (which isn't currently reachable/available).

Your kill count directly ties in within the seond phase of the level up state and serves as "experience" gained toward unlocking a new move set for your player. These are currently unavailable. To bring clarity to what this is exactly, think of your Powerstrike move, you hold down button and then release. This in future for example purposes, will be upgradable or replacable. Replaced with a Powerspin move. Where the player will strike both side with similar properties applied from that of the Powerstrike.

There is audio/voice work yet to be added into level up state which will soon follow with patch updates.
