ATTENTION: IF WE DID NOT SUCCEED, YOU WILL HAVE TO ERASE YOUR PROGRESS AND START THE NEW GAME. BUT WITHOUT THESE CHANGES WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ADD WHAT WE ADDED.
So, what’s in this patch? Let’s go!
1. Mercenaries can now read two scrolls (it was previously one). Of course, there are limitations, which you can read about in the game under the question mark button, but briefly, you cannot read the same scrolls or scrolls with similar effects. If you try to read a scroll that doesn’t meet the requirements, nothing will happen because you will see a lock icon on the scroll.

Additionally, we have weakened the damage scrolls against beasts (Scroll of the Hunter).
2. Traps on the roads no longer stop the Tradesman! Drive over traps and receive your damage for inattention completely free and quickly!
3. Mercenaries now gain experience at the end of battles. Each mercenary has their own bar with ten random attribute enhancements. Leveling up mercenaries will take some time, and it will be minimal if your mercenaries are already strong and fighting against strong enemies.

Talents can be replaced with other random ones by spending either Mercenary Upgrade Points or money. You can choose the currency with a special button.

ATTENTION: This is one of those improvements that required us to modify saves and change data. Just for your information.
4. We added a potion called "Strength of Seven", which gives the Tradesman +10 to attack FOREVER once per game. There is no way to know the recipe for this potion in the game. It’s a secret potion; we just decided to let you know.
5. Quick Battle (wow, why is this fifth and not first?). We introduced a quick battle feature, somewhat like in Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but not quite. Quick Battle is designed for those who possess incredible strength and do not wish to waste time on weaklings. You receive NO rewards (zero rewards) for a quick battle but may lose goods in case of defeat. To access Quick Battle, you need to have fought and defeated all enemies at least once on a road.

This mechanic will save a lot of time on simple and medium roads even at the beginning of the game. The Tradesman and his squad will face eight random enemies generated under the same rules as on a regular road. Since NO enhancements (zero enhancements) work in Quick Battles, don’t expect to ever win a battle against eight bears, for example. You can find the formulas for calculating player and opponent strength in the Quick Battle menu under the question mark button.
6. New item: Note of Commendation, which grants 100 reputation in the location where the note is activated.
7. The Stray Cat that accompanies your cart can now attack.

8. A new button has appeared on the road interface; hovering over it will allow you to read some information.

9. Road event: Hungry Cats. Feed the cats fish to receive a reward and help from the cats in battle.

10. Road event: Postmen Lumpkin and Chumpkin. Help them with letters and receive a Note of Commendation as a reward.

11. Road events: Once again, Denny. For an entry fee, you can win something or get into trouble.
12. Road event: Honey Seller. Buy some honey from the honey seller! And bees, but sometimes. The event activates after completing a certain quest.
