We have taken note of the key issues raised by players and will continue to update the FAQ and provide responses within the community. Various bugs are also being addressed with targeted fixes. We sincerely apologize for any negative experience you may have had with the game.
Q1: Does Delta Force support controllers?
A: We are currently working on implementing controller support and aim to introduce this feature by Q1 2025.
Q2: Does Delta Force support Linux or Steam Deck?
A: Currently Delta Force does not support Linux or Steam Deck.
Q3: Does Delta Force support GeForce Now?
A: GeForce Now support will be available starting in January 2025.
Q4: I am an AMD user and I am having performance issues. What can I do?
A: If you are experiencing stuttering or other performance issues, we recommend updating your drivers to version 24.8.1 or 24.10.1, and then restarting the game.
Q5: What is AntiCheatExpert?
A: Fair play and integrity are essential principles for any competitive shooter, and we are committed to maintaining a fair and secure gaming environment. To achieve this, we have partnered with AntiCheatExpert (ACE), a highly trusted anti-cheat solution that operates at the kernel level to combat modern hacking tools. This approach has been implemented by many developers to safeguard their communities.
We would also like to clarify that our anti-cheat system is only active while the game is running. We are aware of some false alerts from certain security tools indicating that ACE is running when it is not, and we are actively working with to resolve this with the relevant parties.
Q6: Why does ACE remain on my PC even after Delta Force is uninstalled?
A: We apologize for this oversight in the Open Beta version. Our technical team is actively addressing the issue and will provide a hotfix as soon as possible.
Q7: Where can I report cheaters?
A: You can report suspected cheaters after a match using the in-game reporting feature or via the official G.T.I. Security Site. Our dedicated team will investigate reports within 24 hours. Penalties for cheating can include hardware bans of up to 10 years, and in severe cases, the banned player’s hardware ID will be blacklisted. Any hardware previously banned (e.g., during the Steam Next Fest) will be unable to access the Open Beta.
Q8: Are there bot players in the game?
A: We have removed bots from most territories. In areas with fewer players, dynamic adjustments may be made to improve matchmaking experience.
Q9: What should I do if I encounter error:193 or other missing file issues after installation?
A: Please verify the game files via Steam by selecting "Verify Integrity of Game Files" in the Delta Force settings. If the issue persists, we recommend reinstalling the game.
Q10: Some weapons are clearly stronger while some are not. What is your plan to address this issue?
A: Weapon balance is a crucial aspect of FPS games. Delta Force features over 50 weapons and more than 1,000 attachments. We encourage players to explore the weapon modification and fine-tuning systems, as well as level up their weapons to improve performance. We have received valuable feedback regarding weapon balance and will be implementing adjustments through a hotfix tomorrow to enhance the overall experience.
Q11: Is there a tutorial or training mode for new players?
A: Players in Warfare mode can access the A/D Drill training mode, where all enemies are AI. This allows you to practice your shooting skills, familiarize yourself with the map, and try out vehicle controls. For players in Hazard Operations, we recommend experimenting with Easy Mode or utilizing equipment vouchers for additional training opportunities.
Q12: Why is my ping so high?
A: We apologize for the inconvenience. While we aim to provide local servers, some players may be assigned to distant servers due to lower player counts in their region, leading to higher ping. We are continuously optimizing our global server distribution to improve connection experience for all players.
