- moving the camera with the mouse is now working as intended
- ground tiles now count above 999
- resolved bug where building cost became 0
- potato plant now yields 3 potatoes instead of one potato!
- unlocked content now stays unlocked even if game is loaded with less knowledge coins
- villagers now start with enough energy to not directly switch their harvest focus to berries
Less relevant changes:
- the first recipe is now a valid one and its yield gets calculated correctly
- villagers now spawn without water under their feet for ~5 frames
- knowledge coin gain doesn't overflow if gain is larger than one digit
- resolved small interface issue for QHD monitors
- started testing and implementing performance optimizations - more to follow
I've taken down the demo from steam prior to release. Last week I've decided to make it playable again on itch.io - so if you want to play the demo from the Steam Next Fest Oct'24 now you can :)
Previous changes:
- added hold to place/delete/flip function
- faster camera movement with arrow keys or WASD - also, the camera can zoom out further
- increased world size to over double of previous size
- mill system rework - better interface and more recipe variance
- new flowers, grass tile and some visual reworks
- sacrifice doesn't result in mass starvation
- miscellaneous bug fixes and balance improvements
