New Features:
  • Overhauled the game's progression system. Instead of a fixed linear difficulty, difficulty now dynamically scales over time. This affects debt accumulation rates, entity spawn times, and which entities appear in specific locations, providing a more adaptive and challenging experience as players advance.
  • Added an option for "Host-Only Train Interactions" when creating a lobby, allowing only the host to operate the train to prevent griefing in public lobbies.
  • Introduced a digital display on equipment, allowing players to easily view durability levels and other important information.
  • Added Enemy Volume slider to the audio options.
  • The Forsaken now have idle noises.
  • Added a stunned animation for The Forsaken.

New Equipment Added:
  • Added the Stun-Light, a powerful flashlight that can be charged to emit a blinding flash, temporarily disorienting and stunning enemies.
  • Introduced the Sledgehammer, a new tool that allows players to quickly and loudly break down doors, providing a more aggressive entry option.

Changes:
  • The generator now properly shuts down at 5 PM, introducing an added layer of challenge to the Tunnels environment in Nightmare mode.
  • Fixed an EXP imbalance in Nightmare mode, which was previously awarding excessively high experience, making it an unintended shortcut to reach Overseer status.
  • Increased the rate at which the remaining loot value increases.
  • Increased the player death fee from 30 credits to 50 credits.
  • Adjusted travel fees to better balance the cost of traversing the world.
  • Increased the mid-cycle scrap buying percentage from 70% to 75%
  • Reduced the range at which the Spider can detect voice.
  • Slightly nerfed the Spider's hunt parameters.
  • Nerfed spider hearing from 2.55x to 2.3x

  • Temporarily removed the fade system on death until the Black Screen of Death issue is resolved, which was causing the screen to become stuck instead of fading away.

  • Cutting locks with boltcutters now takes 2 seconds, instead of being instant.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where players could be attacked and killed by other enemies while already being attacked by the Ventress.
  • Fixed a bug where players would appear to float when attacked by the Ventress.
  • Fixed an issue where the game could end prematurely if the last remaining client player was downed with an adrenaline shot.
  • Fixed an issue with the debt machine where pressing buttons while at a location could cause it to break until the clear button was pressed.
  • Fixed an issue where the player's call-for-help voice wouldn’t follow their position, causing it to mistakenly sound as if coming from behind when crawling.
  • Fixed a bug where players’ vision wouldn’t fade to darkness after the train crash.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the remaining days counter to display -1 if a player disconnected on Debt Payment Day.
  • Fixed a bug where the pager would remain active after a player was incapacitated.
  • Fixed an issue where the glowstick was not saving correctly.
