Here’s a quick overview of the changes in this patch:

Flexible opening hours 🕖

Many of you reached out to us with feedback that the days felt too short. So, starting with this patch, you’ll be able to set your shop's opening and closing times in the settings. If you want a longer day, you can now keep your customers happy from as early as 4:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.!

Pausing the game ⏸️

When the menu or a tutorial opens in single-player, the game will now automatically pause.

Performance ⚙️

We’ve implemented several optimizations that increase the framerate on our machines by 10 to 20 frames per second.

VSync setting 📺

VSync doesn’t work the same on all hardware and can cause performance issues even with good hardware. Now you have the option to toggle VSync on or off in the settings. If VSync is on, the FPS setting will be ignored and the monitor’s frame rate will be used instead.

Achievements 🏆

We’ve made optimizations to the Steam achievement logic since we received reports that achievements were not unlocking in certain cases.

Cashier 👨🏻‍💼

We’ve ensured that the cashier’s position is correctly set so that they no longer appear to be floating in the office in some cases.

Camera rotation speed 📸

The speed at which the camera rotates while walking around is now independent of the frame rate.

UI fix for Steam Deck and UltraWide monitors 🖥️

The summary dialog at the end of the day was not displaying correctly on Steam Deck and UltraWide monitors.

Localization 📜

We’ve improved several translations in the European Portuguese variant. This includes the game menus as well as the names of some licenses and items.
