Can you believe it’s almost Halloween already?! It feels like the first day of summer was only yesterday… In any case, we’ve got another minor update hot off the press to celebrate the spooky season, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
Before we talk about Patch 1.7, we’re sure you’re all antsy for an update on the Nintendo Switch release. Good news, we will have an official FAQ, a sneak peek of Switch gameplay footage, and more news about the Switch port soon, so please stay tuned! We really appreciate your patience throughout this longer-than-expected process, but we are very excited to share more information soon. 👀

Sun Haven Patch 1.7 has new decor items, Halloween festival portraits, optimization improvements, French translation improvements, in-game exclusive DLC packs of all your favorite romanceable characters, and more!

- Added unique Halloween costume portraits for all romanceable characters during the Halloween event
Major Optimizations:
- Adjusted lighting throughout Sun Haven, Nel’Vari, and Withergate
- Adjusted particles throughout Sun Haven, Nel’Vari, and Withergate
- Added new optimizations to reduce lag and improve performance
- Majorly reduced loading time when selecting a New Character
- Majorly reduced loading time when selecting Load Character
Community Translations:
- Minorly updated French translations based on community-translated text
UI:
- Updated mailbox notification pop-up UI
- Added an in-game store for purchasing DLC items
Balance Changes:
- Increased player movement speed by 2%
- Lowered the in-game time required for a seed maker to produce seeds
- Seed maker mana costs have been adjusted
- Starting max mana has been increased from 10 to 20 mana
- Increased hardwood and heavystone drops by 2
- Increased the speed of eating food by 30%
- Nerfed the spawn rate of seaweed by 25%
- Increased the spawn rate of driftwood by 25%
- Adjusted the Flower Farm skill tree perk to now deliver seeds on Tuesday and not Friday
- Increased the Hidden Gems skill tree perk to now have a 25% chance to obtain a sapphire
- Decreased the Hustle skill tree perk movement speed to 2/3.5%/5%
- Increased the Self Sustaining skill tree perk to 6/8/10 mana restoration
- Increased the mana cost of casting the Bubble Net spell to 65/60/55 mana
- Lowered the EXP gained from Nel’Vari mine and Withergate mine rocks
- Increased the Top Shelf skill tree perk sell prices to 5/10/15% for animal products
- Increased the Happy Animals skill tree perk to 10/20/30% chance to get an extra animal product
- Lowered base mana regen from 0.2 to .175
- Increased the Delicious Experience skill tree perk to get 20/40/60% more EXP from jams
Bug Fixes:
- Attempted a fix on a bug causing character portraits to flash white
- Fixed an issue causing some busts to be offset
- The seed maker skill now clarifies that you have the chance to obtain 1 extra seed

We are excited to announce that 25 new DLC packs will be available in the new in-game store with Patch 1.7! All DLCs will be extra, optional, and cosmetic only, and will never contain exclusive story content.There are now fresh sets of furniture and decor items, clothing items, and pets based on your favorite romanceable characters available via the new in-game store!

As mentioned previously, we will continue to release minor patches until after Sun Haven is available on Nintendo Switch. Right now we have a lot of exciting new features in development, and we can’t wait for you to see more soon!
