Operation: HAMMER FIRE
The uploaded data along with intel gathered from various ground sources has allowed us to pinpoint the exact location of the enemy leader. Located within a mountainous region is a compound where the enemy leader resides. Our first attempt to take him down has failed.Mission:
• Destroy the downed helicopter by planting C4 onto it
• Eliminate the HVT (High-Value Target)
• Exfiltrate

At long last, it's finally here! The Compound mission, titled "Hammer Fire", is loosely based on a real-life mission that took place in Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2012.
Operators will have to make their way through a steep-inclined, treacherously large town and push towards the compound where the HVT resides. You'll find yourself transitioning from large, open space to claustrophobia-inducing, shoulder-to-shoulder walls.
Destroy the remains of the downed helicopter and carefully place your shot when taking down the HVT.
Hammer Fire boasts the highest enemy count between all previous missions and has the most intense fire-fights you'll experience in virtual reality.
LIGHT MACHINE GUNS

Give 'em hell with the new LMG class of weapons that include the FNMAG, Minimi, and PKM light machine guns. Utilize the bi-pod for increased accuracy or spray-and-pray as you lay down suppressive fire.
HARDCORE MODE
Test your reflexes against Enemy Ai that have increased vision, increased accuracy, faster first-shot reaction times, and use the SCAR-H. Utilize cover and communicate effectively with your team... or fail. Cry about it.MORE AVATAR AND WEAPON CUSTOMIZATION!

QoL (quality-of-life) Additions:

• Added Crouching Vest Pullback toggle in Settings. On by default.
Multiplayer Additions:
• Added Vote-Kicking System. A kicked player is banned from the room for the duration that the room is live
• Added current Map ID to Room Listings within lobby rooms list (ie IS == Incoming Storm)
• Added PvP Auto-Team Balancing (player will automatically join the opposite team if the chosen team is at capacity)
• Added Direct Action Multiplayer Coop Lobby (Skip the training map and head straight to mission select and Start) Preferred for players who want to start missions and don't want to deal with squeakers, trolls, griefers.
• Added: Knife Kills now count as kills or team kills
• Added: Sledgehammer kills against EnemyAi now count as kills

• Added bHaptics support for both PCVR and Stand Alone Quest
• Major doors re-work with massive under-the-hood improvements
• Added Hardcore Difficulty - enemy accuracy, reaction time, health and vision increased, UI elements reduced, more enemies, weapon variety...because the "EnEmIeS aRe ToO eAsY"... I want taste your tears!!!!
• Improved enemy ai target selection over the network
• Performance optimizations and improvements
• (Quest) Added Foveated Rendering for improved performance (lowered resolution at screen edges)
• (Quest) Stand-alone players can now disable the documentary camera rendering for improved performance through Main Menu > Settings > Graphics > RenderDocCam toggle. Especially useful for Quest 2 players.
