Hello Botmasters! We're so thrilled that you're enjoying your time with Botworld Odyssey. To address some immediate feedback, we've released a small hotfix that includes the following changes:

Offline play:

You can now play Botworld Odyssey completely offline, on both desktop and Steam Deck.

Progress Reset:

You will now be able to reset your progress from within the game, if you so choose. To do this, open the Settings menu and choose the "Reset Progress" option. You will be asked to confirm your choice. Resetting progress will close the game, and the next time you open it you will begin again from the start.

NOTE: If this process doesn't work, please try again while disabling Steam Cloud support, and then re-enabling Steam Cloud after resetting your progress, and choosing to overwrite your Steam Cloud saves with your new local saves. To disable Steam Cloud, right click on Botworld Odyssey in your Steam Library, then choose Properties, then uncheck the Steam Cloud option.

Additionally, if you would like to change your character's appearance, please visit the Stylist in Scavenger's Landing. She will allow you to customise your character's outfit, skin colour, eyes, and even species. In this update we have reduced her cost from 200 coins to 20 coins.

Other fixes:

• Fixed an issue where a large blue texture would appear in battles
  
• Fixed an issue where fishing spots would remain in the world after a battle
  
• Fixed the ESC key not backing out of certain menus
  
• Fixed enemies immediately chasing you upon leaving a battle
  
• Fixed an issue that caused a feature popup to incorrectly appear after upgrading your boat
  
• Fixed an issue where Yanky's ultimate ability did not count to the Stun Enemy Bots in Battle contract
