Fellow Gnombers, as promised we present you the Gnoctober Update!
The Gnoctober update is releasing now and will also include a 50% sale for the next 10 days!

New Area, 3 New Bombs and New Enemies
Here you can see the Scaregnome fighting off a horde of new enemy types in the new Grove area using the new Pumpkin Bomb

In this picture, the Gnomberman laid down new Ice Bombs to slow enemies.

We've also added the Fire Bomb, which has damage scaling according to bomb force, not pictured here, so you'll have to unlock it on your own to see what it's like!
Major Lag Fix
We have fixed the major lag spikes which degraded the gameplay. In our tests, moments that dropped down to 2-3 fps now run at 60 fps without a hitch. We haven't eliminated lag spikes completely, but you should no longer get game-breaking freezes and hangups due to spamming the Crystal Bomb and filling the screen with particles.Bomb Force Rework
We decided to rework the way the knockback mechanic and how the bomb force stat works.Bomb force now only increases bomb-specific characteristics and now only increases knockback by a little bit for a few bombs which benefit from it. For example, the flare will last longer with higher force, the grenade can be thrown further, the mist bomb will linger longer, the crystal bomb will spawn more clones etc.
Quality Of Life Improvements
Here's a list of highly requested QOL changes that we made to the game:- The knockback stat from bomb force will only affect bombs whose characteristic is knockback (for example, the balloon and the wave bombs). The knockback stat would often times throw enemies INTO the player, making the powerup actually a disadvantage for late game, so we have toned it down significantly for bombs which don't need it.
- The magnet shroom will now apply to the ENTIRE map, instead of just a large area. Exp drops that are part of setpieces and structures won't be affected.
- Added filler waves whenever you completely clear a wave so you never have to wait for the next wave to start spawning.
- Added a proper ending to each stage where you don't need to die, you can just step into a portal now to finish it.
- Added VSync option to settings.
Bugfixes
- Added higher quality trails left by bigger explosions.
- When notifications were shown about unlocks, the "close" button couldn't be selected.
- Sometimes the background music would pause and unpause inconsistently when showing notifications or unlocks.
- Fixed bugs where the inside of the dynamite explosion would spawn extra projectiles and do double heals.
- Add 2 missing stats to stats menu: sledgehammer and magic star count
- Nerfed Gnomnomnom health and exp gain amount
- Mist bomb particles reduced, but increased their size. This improves fps drops when spamming it.
