The GMS2 beta build that's been in the works since August has gone live for all players. Didn't intend on taking this long but real life had other plans. Better late than never, right?

Internally, there's been a *lot* of changes, including quite a few quality of life features that were long overdue. The two biggest new features though, are the introduction of a new game mode and a new ship! For the achievement hunters, there's two new achievements added to coincide with these new features.

Zen mode introduces a dynamic rank system designed with Arc mode's difficulty as the upper bound, ergo it should be easier for most players to appreciate the game and the quality-of-life adjustments that's been made. The HUD on the top-left corner has had a slight rework to accommodate a visual rank meter - it's not visually fancy but it gets the message across.

In addition, the Bioweapon ship debuts as a throwback to the TLB of the classic "Zenodyne" Kaiser and I made in 2013. You'll need to get to the end of stage 6 in Zen mode *without* using continues to unlock this one.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback, tried out the beta branch, reported bugs, and gave this game a go after so long! Should any issues arise, please report it in the feedback thread or community forum.
