Wizard of Legend 2 - Patch #3 (Version 0.4.26)

Enhanced Stability, Bug Fixes, and New Accessibility Options Await!


Greetings Wizards!

Patch #3 is here with a host of bug fixes, improvements, and new updates! We’ve been hard at work addressing various issues and polishing the game to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your continued feedback and support!

Multiplayer Stability:

  • Resolved an issue where the game became unplayable if a client disconnected while the server was in the ghost state.
  • Fixed a crash when local co-op players tried to join an online game.
  • Addressed a bug preventing clients from teleporting after falling into pits while the server activated a portal.

Relic & Arcana Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where choosing a relic from Arcolith with a full inventory caused it to spawn in the wrong location across levels.
  • Corrected a bug that allowed players to spawn in the tutorial after defeating the final boss.
  • Fixed an issue where the signature bar was consumed prematurely when casting normal versions of signature arcana.
  • Fixed VFX issues with Fissure Slam and Blazing Whip when canceling arcana with a dash.
  • Addressed bugs related to casting Shock Assault and Submerged Strike while falling or in pits.

Gameplay & Performance Updates:

  • Increased the controller dead zone to reduce aiming glitches. Temporarily, this option has been removed from the settings.
  • Auto Aim setting now properly toggles off when using a controller.
  • Minor performance optimizations for smoother gameplay.

Visual & Audio Updates:

  • Updated sound effects for several arcana: Spreading Jet, Volt Surge, Stone Strike Kick, and Ice Blast.
  • Added new SFX for Serjik's Tournament intro and Hieronymus' cutscene, with further cutscene fixes.
  • Visual improvements in Healing Room, Medallions' Mirror, and Arcana Enhancers.
  • Updated mini-map visuals and loading banners for better clarity.

Accessibility:

  • Added a new accessibility option to disable Hit Screen Effects in the settings.

Task Adjustments & Fixes:

  • Removed the King Hunt task.
  • Fixed issues with the Barehanded Giant Hunt and Spawner Stomp tasks.
  • Dummies no longer count toward task progression.

Miscellaneous Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug with Mordeon’s Gem healing the player even at full health.
  • Wizards are now paused during Bahadur's death animation.
  • Corrected the issue of the title screen showing defeat despite beating the final boss.
  • Fixed revive count display in the run summary screen.
  • Fixed issues with scrolling through Early Access and Patch Notes using the controller.
