Hello Cosmorists!

Thanks for the feedback provided since launch, and pointing out bugs and crashes that I missed prior to launch! This first post-launch update adds a small amount of content, and fixes some bugs that were reported. Let's get to the primary piece of content that has been added so far!

Primary content added

    In the chemical crystal biome on Tierra, a new danger lurks!

    Chemical Crystal Wanderers!

    These enemies look a lot like the other chemical crystals at first glance, but will aggressively ward off unsuspecting players, and will shoot their shards in all directions. Here it is in action!


    Now for the rest of the changes made since the first launch build, as well as the bug fixes!

    Enemies

    Graphics

    • Ground items now move up and down on the screen

    Items

    • + Sandstone Axe
    • + Sandstone Bow
    • + Sandstone Pickaxe
    • + Sandstone Sword
    • Increased the mass of all sciences 10-fold.

    Spaceship

    • Doubled the takeoff speed of each spaceship.

    Crash fixes

    • Fixed crash where saving the game involving campfires or evaporative coolers can sometimes corrupt the save.

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed rendering bug where certain base tiles flicker horizontal black lines when the player moves.
    • Fixed bug where items can't be picked up with a full inventory that can pick it up.
    • Fixed bug where landing sites don't save spawn points set by beds.
    • Fixed bug where saving the game while the spaceship takes off puts the player and the spaceship in a different part of the world.

    Exploit fixes

    • Fixed duplication exploit where picking up all items in a single layer, saving the game, and reloading it can cause those same items to reappear.
