We’ve deployed several hotfixes to address a number of reported issues after the release of version 0.33. You can find all the details in the changelog below:



v0.33.2

(September/27, 2024)

Vehicles

  • Gavril MD-Series
    • Fixed reverse light flares
    • Increased the durability of single cab driveshaft

  • Bruckell Moonhawk
    • Fixed drag config blowing up before crossing 1/4 mile

  • Simplified Traffic Vehicles
    • Fixed BX traffic cars reversing backwards at random, usually into the player


World Editor

  • Road Architect Tool
    • Fixed an issue where sidewalks/kerbs appeared raised above the ground, which was causing tire popping when driving over them. Bottom faces of sidewalks were also removed
    • Terraforming Improvement: added triangle refinement before terraforming operations. This makes the terraforming less bumpy when camber is used
    • User Interface: Added new Options tab. Currently it offers an option to load only the roads and not the terrain
    • Rendering Improvement: All decals (in all tool roads) now use the improvedSpline flag (used for better rendering)
    • Convenience Feature: added isOverObject flag for each road. Now switchable inside the tool
    • Convenience Feature: Traffic lights on roundabouts now switched off by default


User Interface

  • Updated official translations

Early Preview: Career Mode

  • Fixed Softlock for cargo screen that can happen rarely
  • Fixed parcel progress not being saved for milestones

Game Engine

  • Fixed application exit after 10000 seconds if it failed to connect to the mod repository

    • Added Welded differential option
    • Updated splitter controls to be compatible with both direct drive and overdrive gearboxes
    • Fixed an excessively high engine torque rating

  • Gavril T-Series
    • Fixed an issue where the front tridem tires were using incorrect components for offset
    • Updated splitter controls to be compatible with both direct drive and overdrive gearboxes
    • Implemented yet another fix for a persistent problem with the driveshaft on the Cab-over Day Cab Single Drive Fifthwheel Frame with a V8 engine

  • Ibishu Miramar
    • Fixed issues with liveries

  • Simplified Traffic Vehicles
    • Fixed traffic D-Series high spec facelift front signals using wrong blinding glowmap material


Early Preview: Career Mode

  • Fixed an issue where the route would disappear when opening the map during a car jockey delivery
  • Fixed some cases where the vehicle thumbnails would be blurry
  • Fixed an issue in the part inventory where uninstalling a part from a vehicle in storage would not update the parts list
  • Improved part inventory performance when installing or removing parts

Game Engine

  • Added back erroneously deleted obj:getSensorX to vehicle Lua. Among other things, this affected SimHub
