Oculto was conceived as an experimental narrative game. The affliction mechanics add tension to the exploration. Thus, Oculto is halfway between a narrative walking simulator and a survival platformer.
We understand that there are players who prefer one genre or the other, so we have added optional death, for those who prefer more of a horror walking simulator.
In the initial menu settings there is the option to disable death at any time.
Let me know if you find any bugs.
