Update 1.1 – The Final Touch
Dear Community,
We’re thrilled to finally bring you the long-awaited Update 1.1! We know it took longer than originally promised, but we wanted to ensure all existing issues were thoroughly resolved. Now, we are proud to announce that the development of the game is officially complete. From this point on, only hotfixes and minor updates will be released if any further bugs are encountered.
Here’s an overview of the key changes and improvements:
- Mission Bugfix: Fixed an issue where missions were always displayed on screen, even when you were not on a Map with includes missions.
- Score Display: Fixed a bug where the score stayed on the screen for certain NPCs/items until a new score appeared.
- Time Dilation: The Time Dilation effect is now properly used in Emerald River Valley.
- Mouse Sensitivity: Fixed a bug where mouse sensitivity settings in the in-game menu were not applied directly and required a map restart.
- Pause Menu: Fixed a bug where the game would continue running with the Pause Menu in the foreground after closing the settings menu with the ESC button.
- Removed Sky Object: A leftover structure in the sky of Emerald River Valley from the development stage has been removed.
- Syncing Issue: Fixed an issue with syncing.
- Achievement System Overhaul: The achievement system has been reworked.
- Highscore Expansion: Added new highscores to track lifetime animal kills and schnapps bottles destroyed.
- Shop Improvement: You now start in the Guns tab when visiting the shop, instead of an empty window.
- New Revolver: Added the revolver, along with two new achievements.
- Savegame Structure Overhaul: The old savegame structures, which caused numerous shop bugs, have been completely overhauled. Unfortunately, this means that some of your progress will be partially reset.
- New Map & Enemy: Added a new map featuring a new enemy type that offers higher cash rewards due to the increased risk of dying.
- Additional Bugfixes: Various other issues have been resolved, including problems with the main menu music, slow text build-up in the map selection menu, and more.
- Graphics Update: The Intel XeSS settings have been properly implemented after the UE5.3-UE5.4 port, and schnapps bottles are now more visible due to reduced opacity.
Important Note: Due to the overhaul of savegame structures, your progress will be partially reset. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support throughout the development process.
We would like to sincerely thank all of you for your patience and feedback. Your input has been crucial in bringing the game to its best possible state. Although the development is complete, we will remain active to address any potential bugs and ensure you have the best possible gaming experience.
