Our game release is on August 16th, and these are the following updates for our launch.

Please note that your current save files will be deleted as they will be incompatible with the new updates. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Highlights

  • Wounded Champions – The health of champions shall no longer be fully restored at the start of the next battle. For champions to recover, they must remain inactive during battle.

  • Inactive Champions – In-active champions heal by 20% per battle.

  • Added Goblin Invasion event – A special boss may invade in a province battle depending on the progress made on the current island.

  • Added a New Island with 3 new enemies and 1 boss

  • Added Final boss fight

  • Added new Champion: Hemlock Assassin

    • Trait – Poison Daggers: Throws a dagger at the target dealing damage and applying poison. If an enemy dies under this effect, they explode applying poison on nearby enemies.

    • Ability 01 – Flurry: On attacking allows the champion to throw 1 additional dagger to a random adjacent enemy to the target. Additional daggers deal base damage only.

    • Ability 02 – Dash: Gain bonus 60% chance to Dodge this turn.

  • Added new Champion: Priestess

    • Trait – Healing Touch: Attacks the target and heals 50% of base damage to all allies adjacent to the target. Min 1HP heal. Can be upgraded.

    • Ability 01 – Transposition: Swaps position with another champion or enemy. Not applicable on Bosses. Enemy is disarmed on swap.

    • Ability 02 – Transference: Reduces target’s base damage by 50% and gain equivalent damage this turn. Target damage cannot be less than one. Not applicable on Boss.

  • Added new Battle modes - Escape and Capture

  • Added new biome hazard – Floating Monolith: Whenever a character is attacked while they are adjacent to the monolith, it will blast the target dealing damage and pushing them back by 1 tile.

  • Added new Levels – Mountain Desert Night Shroom Forest

  • Added Power orbs that can drop from props or enemies. These orbs grant temporary but powerful buffs to all allies or enemies depending on who picks it up.

  • Added intro cutscene for Bosses

  • Added props in the battlefield which may drop items or resources when destroyed

  • Added New Defense and Utility Items

  • Added a new Shrine – Shrine of Mending: Increases the healing rate to 50% for all inactive champions

Balance

  • Status effect Ticker logic changed from Player turn to application-based (turn in which it was applied)

  • Enemies no longer choose an attack zone from their pattern. Instead, they will automatically attack the first champion or allied character that steps over any tiles that overlap their attack pattern. All enemies attack only once per turn.

  • Reinforcement zone - Increased the number of enemy reinforcement spawn tiles.

  • Retrieve and Rescue - Turn duration now begins from the start of the battle.

  • Updated the Item drop logic for balanced drops across different Item types.

  • Updated flow for unlocking and introducing new enemies in every island.

  • Ambush reworked – Ambush battles no longer have a turn count. Instead, the player must clear all enemy waves to win the battle.

  • Added a new Secondary Objective.

  • Ambush Mode changed to wave-based instead of Turn counts.

  • Changed Min Item Weight to 0 for Item Drops.

  • Ranger Ability – Renamed Spectre to Shadow Replica. Shadow Replica can now be summoned on any empty tile.

  • Changed Stronghold Reward for Fembria +1 Squad to +1 Shard.

Polishes

  • Items are color-coded in correspondence to their rarity.

  • Added a new flow for Campaign victory and defeat

  • Added Gameplay Options in Settings.

  • Overhead texts reworked

  • Update BGM tracks to have a dynamic effect

  • Loadout Videos updated for all characters

  • Added the option to Abandon Battle or Campaign from the Options Menu.

  • Minor Tutorial Updates

  • Added SFX for various attack events and interactions.

  • Overhead UI Reworked

  • Displayed Current HP of Character in Province UI

  • Added Mini-Cutscene for boss deaths.

  • Attack Opportunity indicators show kill opportunities as well.

  • Added DoT death indicators

  • During Ability Casting, invalid grids are shown in Red Color.

  • Added New Achievements.

  • Updated Loading Screen.

  • Updated Snow Lighting to make characters a little brighter.

  • Enabled Reposition on Ember bomb.

  • Updated Visuals for Shard Destruction.

  • Updated Profile Name with Island number and Name.

  • Updated all Tutorial Tips.

  • Skipping tutorials now disables the dialogue on the Campaign map as well.

  • Added minor updates to trap variants.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where dead characters were getting healed.

  • Fixed a respawn bug after Shadow Replica was summoned.

  • Fixed a bug where Executioner would incorrectly check for dead characters

  • Fixed an issue with characters dodging Raider attacks.

  • Fixed an issue with character deaths on Poison explosion.

  • Fixed an issue with Inventory Scrolling.

  • Fixed an issue where healing overheads would trigger even if a character can’t be healed.

  • Fixed an issue with hover while a Status Effect is active.

  • Fixed an issue with certain projectiles skipping target characters.

  • Reworked and Fixed Undo flow to avoid incorrect triggers.

  • Fixed artifacts in the Intro BG Effect.

  • Fixed missing scripts for Render effects.

  • Fixed an issue with Immune Status Effect.

  • Fixed an issue where certain traits & traps with dead characters.

  • Fixed an issue with controller and Mouse fast switching.

  • Fixed a bug where behemoth's AOE attack can soft freeze the game.

  • Fixed a bug where Character save would not work as intended.

  • Fixed lighting issues with certain characters on Medium Settings.

  • Removed Boss starting dialogue and replaced it with an intro mini-cutscene

  • Enabled debug logs for exceptions will help us track the issues.
