Hello, Tamers!
We’re flying into August with another freshly baked content update. It's about time for some actual dragons to join our pack of Mystlings. What's more, we’re adding a Leaderboard, letting the most competitive of you flex your scores among the other Tamers worldwide. We’re also introducing new Enchant Arena mechanics and an overall game Compendium.
As always, thank you for participating in the Early Access process! Many of the changes were inspired by your comments and feedback, so we’d love for you to keep them coming.
Watch our official trailer update for a visual overview of what’s been added to the game:
And here are the update details:
Two new Mystlings: Luminesca and Emberling
Introducing to you: Luminesca and Emberling! These two beauties are fully-fledged dragons (kinda funny how we didn't have those yet). You can unlock them as you climb through the experience levels. Luminesca’s perks make her elusive, allowing her to dodge attacks after getting hurt too much. On the other hand, Emberling can break some rules and freely choose the opponent he wants to attack!
Enchant Arena Mechanic
This mechanic includes 8 new enchantment cards that allow casting powerful effects on a particular slot in combat. For example, you can enchant your middle combat position with one of the cards, so it will keep adding 2 shields to any Mystling in this slot at the start of each round, until the end of battle.
Leaderboards
After achieving victory on any difficulty level, you will face the Eclipse Crystal, a defenseless opponent designed for one purpose: to test your damage-dealing skills. You’ll have several rounds to inflict as much damage as possible. A global leaderboard will then upload your score, enabling you to compare your results with other players. Each difficulty level boasts its own separate leaderboard, to ensure the whole thing is fair. Go and give that Eclipse Crystal a good beating!
Compendium
Knowledge is power, and the new Compendium feature is here to arm you with all the information you need. Accessible from the pause screen, the Compendium lists all cards, blessings, and statuses, along with reminders of basic game mechanics. This should come in handy as a go-to guide for both veterans and newcomers!
That’s a wrap!
We hope those new changes will make the game an even more fun experience for all of you! Future content updates are in the works, with a new update planned for around 2 weeks from today.
Thanks for being with us during the production process. All comments, questions, and feedback are always welcome! The easiest way to get in touch with us is by joining our Discord server.
Good luck and have fun playing! ❤
