Patch Features:
- Migrated game from UE5.1 to UE5.4 - Changed build settings that will allow smoother transition to newer Unreal version.
- New Map (Jungle Map) - With the power of PCG, play on a semi-dynamically generated map complete with new objectives and enemy.
- Changed how attachments are implemented - Before attachments are Static Meshes for attempting to optimize. Changed all of them to Skeletal Meshes, all attachments can now be fully animated.
- Properly animated attachments - Added multiple animations for attachments, from flipping a 3x Magnifier off or on to retracting/extending stocks. A new variety of animations added.
- Improved audio work - Audio now sounds appropriate for where it plays. No more hearing audio even if it's miles away.
- Further optimization work done to support moving to 5.4 and new method of map.
Known Issues:
- Change to freeze when playing new map - When PCG event starts there's, a change the game freezes and hardlocks. Unreal's PCG tools are fairly new, as such early adopters will suffer bugs that has never been found before. With that unfortunately, there are no fixes yet.
Recommend to just keep restarting the game and loading the map until map loads without issue.
Thank you for the few that showed enthusiasm and buying this obviously shovelware of a game. This has been the best learning tool and testing ground for new ideas I have (check my blog to see the ideas I tested).
