Greeting bowlers, here we have the first patch notes for Sparedevil! In this update we bring you a big batch of bug fixes as well as some key quality of life and settings features. This is the first of many updates so keep your eyes peeled and your balls shined!
Bug Fixes

When achieving higher scores the spawning of basic pins should not slow down as much.

Fixed an issue where playing with high volume settings causes the music to stop/restart randomly.

Fixed an issue where skipping the score tally in the game over screen at certain times causes it to count up multiple times.

Score text no longer overlaps the "!" when scoring 1 million points +.

Fixed some pins spawning invincible (Loot pin and mortar pins)

Mortar pins now have distinct audio when firing.

Sensitive mouse buttons no longer "double shoot" the laser secondary fire.

Loot pin now always fully re-compresses after jumping.

Shield pin can now be shot with the laser through the gaps in its shield (as well as through the shield as before).

The "Press button to rebind" text in the control settings no longer overlaps the star on its right side.

The "darkness" inside the gates around the arena no longer overlaps other VFX.

UFO Pin slams no longer trigger the damage effects on the player.

The large spawner pins hit box is now more accurate.

Fixed an issue where Pin Wheels would not take damage briefly after being hit by the ball.

Settings menu colors are now in sync with the rest of the UI.
Features

Added fullscreen, windowed and fullscreen windowed settings to the video settings screen.

Added screen resolution settings in the video settings screen.

The laser now leaves scorch marks where it hits.

The ball now leaves scorch marks on the floor of the arena.
Quality Of Life Changes

Restart button added to the pause menu.

Holding the reset button in game now shows a fill meter to indicate the button is being held.
Known Issues
-
Enemies need more distinct audio for when they spawn in.
-
When the laser chains to multiple targets the audio sounds as though it is glitching.
