So.. hi there. I know we said the rest of the updates would be on Discord.
Change of plans obviously.

Instead of spending 300$ to list every game were working on onto Steam.
Were simply merging all of them into this one.

DUE to the merge. There may be... a more than couple broken things.
I've had to mix together the serializes for multiple games and make them play nice.
This may cause issues. I'm keeping an eye out, but doing my best.

So what's this mean for you? A couple things. First the AoA update log.

In Order.

  • Added a 1760x990 resolution.......because it was in payday 2 and i wanted it
  • Added species descriptions to the content buy section
  • Made the buy section more robust... now there will be no more faults. e.g. if you game crashed or something while buying content it doesn't use up your code. and it only saves at the end after pickign species.
  • Added code specifically for hybrid - only available to alpha players and bought in the ko-fi store (SOON STEAM DLC!)
  • Added achievements for non steam versions
  • Sent out a quickfix which removed steam achievements. as it REQUIRED steam to run to launch the game (totes didn't forget to disable that now that the games on itch...)
  • fixed a lot of how the starting scene worked. there was a rare issue that sometimes it would fail to read your settings file before your database file and would stop the entire script from doing what it was supposed to do. evidently this was a unity "Scripts turn on in random order" issue. - so i said fuck it and smashed'em all into one.
  • fixed a canvas scaling issue with the how to use guide. - again. caused by the settings not being read correctly and all that
  • made in game achievements look better with images
  • edited a lot of things in the homebrew section
  • completely changed how the character creator complete randomizer works... it can no longer by any means ever error now >:C
  • changed the info panel a little bit to give more information and also allow people into the main menu so they can read lore and stuff
  • Fixed GM panel missing causing error
  • fixed loading in error due to new code requirement
  • fixed a bunch of netcode for the lich. god damnit
  • fixed HP setting loadup for players sometimes causing 0 values in everything
  • added healthupdate functions to temporary, necro hp, and lichmax hp
  • Fixed achievement "im In' not working due to disconnected gameobject
  • Added "How many players" and "how many companions" to the Player information section of Game master and turned all objects off by default to help loading time for that page.
  • replaced all instances of character and tree levels to be "-" instead of "x"
  • Completely redesigned the EXP screen. has more space, and has separate buttons for increasing EXP in 75 divisible pieces instead of holding up or down. - removed down completely.
  • changed how the elevation panel showsup/goes away for phones in EXP screen.
  • Added new charm: Leprechaun Charm. Allows you to gain cumulative criticals by spending luck.
  • Added new charm: Cat Charm. Allows you to gain double benefits from all types of resting.
  • Tested some dice rolls. Fixed an issue where a Critical Success wouldn't overpower a cumulative critical. while also a cumulative critical would sometimes overpower a critical success because it went over 100. 🤨 what
  • Hopefully fixed the option button hovering over important things in the QSG. Moved it to the left side and moved buttons and text so it wasn't blocked and such.
  • Idk what else i did so im putting this here as a note 🤷 but. gotta send out a build for sunday
  • Fixed Gird your self and Prepare Yourself... wrong string issue lol
  • Added Jaguar to companions
  • Fixed a lot of issues with the content chooser due to changes to the ADP
  • fixed homebrew weapon creation. evidently the description had a 30 character limit? idk where or how but its fixed lol
  • Added clarification for "Complete Invisibility", and added to conditions


Now that, thats out of the way.

STEAM THINGS. were going full send.
At first we didn't want to fully integrate with steam cause we didn't want always online DRM due to running the game on phones...
We found a way to fix this so if you're on PC? You're running it on Steam.
Itch.IO offered us nothing and barely got any views so were scrapping that.

since people don't know how to read... were adding Steam DLC for content packs and such. they will be 3x the price that they are on ko-fi. That's what you get. maybe read things?

Ofcourse the option to buy it cheaper will be on our ko-fi, and the option to join the discord and engage with the community to get stuff for free is STILL THERE. but let me say again. you have you engage. you can't just join and lurk. you will get kicked.

on more notes im working on DoA. duels of ardron. a card game. based on the universe of Ardron.
as well as a side scroller. based on the story of Freedin, and maybe some other characters, but i am only one person doing all this work. :D give me time. Adventures is my main priority. without it? the other games can't function 👍

so on that note. update log so far for DoA.

  • Finished setting up preload. Database, Settings, and options are now set up.
  • Set 1 Delirium cards Finished
  • Set 1 Corruption cards Finished.
  • Completely set up the shop with multiple packs to buy and colors to buy if wanted.(this will reflect in AoA)
  • finished setting up the key code system, and the coin generation system. - bonus' for donators/subs/subersubs etc
  • Forgot to list the new algorithym update which makes a million cards be on screen with no issues. let alone doesn't use any HDD space so iy loads quicker..just incase someone is on a shitty laptop with a 5200 RPM speed.
  • Deck builder finished
  • Added sprite sheet layout so cards can go: " :Grimlowe_Icon: : Increase creatures attack by +2" instead of "1 Black Mana: increase creatures attack by +2"
  • Changed creature card design because honestly i needed more space for SOME of them. its a lil more bland, but it works.



All; thats left to set up is the play field...


SO on THOSE notes.
Since were going full steam. we'll be able to utilize steam servers... soon as i figure out how :D

as an added BONUS.
uhh with the shop introduced due to DoA.

you can now buy content packs with pallidium :D the auto generated coins in the game.
buuuuuuuuuuut that will take a while...

you get 0.01 coins per minute as a regular user.
0.5 as a donator
0.15 as a subscriber.
and 0.35 as a super subscriber.

first content pack costs... 20 coins.
so if you dont' care and just want to wait around for... literally hours doing nothing? you can unlock it that away.

further content packs cost........400.
