A few days ago now, update 2.0.0 was released. No announcement was made about it for a variety of reasons, we were busy with the release of the Truth update for Didnapper 2 and preparation for our next project, Envoy. I was hopeful that the update would be seamless, but as some of you have noticed, it was riddled with issues, which is why we're already at patch 2.0.7...
I believe most of the bigger issues have been fixed now, so allow me to talk about what exactly the 2.0.0 update is.

This update was a complete rewrite of Bonds, which is why it is update 2.0.0 instead of update 1.4.0. Everything besides the asset files was re-implemented and remade. This background work was necessary to achieve decent performance and was necessary to keep Bonds available to macOS users as RPG Maker MV games were no longer supported on newer macOS versions.
A few new features were also added, made possible by the rewrite, such as customizable session items and modding support.
Work on this update started over a year and a half ago, I had to prioritize the development of the Truth update for Didnapper 2 so I could never commit too much time to it, so I am happy to have been able to finally let it out.
Of course, rest assured that all bugs will be fixed, and further quality-of-life changes may be done to polish this update.
