Today, 22nd july 2024, marks 7 years since Fairtravel Battle started being developed! It's been quite the journey, and we're reaching a very important milestone!

Only 14 card arts are missing for the base set (Adventurers of Fairtravel) to be fully art complete! This is a huge milestone, as 1 year ago we were missing over 130 card arts!

I can't thank The Pixel Buster enough for all his help this past year, and I can't wait to see how far we can come further!

Additionally, I received a physical prototype of the game a few weeks ago, which turned out very well!

Anyway, let's talk about the changes in this update!

Changes

  • Added card art for Lifestream Ritual, Nalari Grove Gatherer, Siphon Essence, Soldier Training, Defender's Hammer, Lasher Chestplate, Greatsword of Agility, Nalari Skyseeker, Numbing Sphere, Reinforce the Guard, "Flareo, Aspect of Fury", Golem (that's an entire 12 new card arts!)

  • Changed Shadow Assassin's 2nd effect to "This gains evasive until end of turn"

  • Disabled Tab shortcut for ending turns

  • Improved daily chest reward drops to 1 pack and 50 gold per 5 levels (down from 8 levels)

  • Updated mass pack open experience to be simpler

  • Simplified foil effect to be less obtrusive

  • Optimized card textures to be more performance-efficient, while reducing the game's install size by around 100MB on all platforms and allowing lower end devices to run it better as well

  • Renamed Greatsword of Agility to Swiftwind Slasher

  • Redesigned team list screen

  • Changed the Flying keyword into "Non-flying guardians can't defend from this. Can attack tacticians directly"

  • Renamed Evasive to Stealth and Clairvoyance to Scout

  • Updated card rules to use symbols when referencing to stat changes and cleaned up rules in general

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Explore not revealing cards properly in multiplayer

  • Fixed mulligans not cleaning up properly in dedicated servers due to timeout

  • Fixed several issues with Steam Lobbies

That's a lot of changes, and I feel that we're getting ever so closer to an actual launch! Thank you so much for everyone who has been a part of the community or tried the game so far, I want to hear more of your feedback and make this the best game I can!
