Did we really just press ‘release’?

After 7 months of development, we went live today with a game that was intended to be a really small project, but then blew up into something none of us thought was possible!

Metal Queen Dungeon is a result of our combined passions: beautiful pixel art, strategic deck-building, turn and grid-based combat, and super chunky metal music!

Everything you need to know:

  • Survive relentless waves of heroes, each wave more challenging than the last.
  • Build an evil army by playing cards onto a grid-based battlefield.
  • Play powerful minion, structure, and spell cards from five different factions.
  • Take control over the battle with manipulation, destruction, and movement spells.
  • Customize your deck by adding game-changing cards of different rarities or burning those that don’t fit your strategy.
  • Utilize the stacking mechanic to strategically accumulate minions on a single tile.
  • Conquer the Classic Mode against a legendary hero or test your limits in Endless Mode.
  • Enjoy an original soundtrack ranging from doomy orchestral music to absolute face-melting metal riffage!


This is our first game, and we hope to have brought you a stable and extremely fun experience, where you can try out combinations with 58 different cards against 19 different enemy units!

In the next days and weeks, we will squash bugs that surface and make the game a little bit more sparkly (as sparkly as it can get in a dungeon full of Gnolls and Orcs). Please be patient, as we are only a tiny team of three with no publisher.

We are more than thrilled to hear about your experiences, your chosen strategies, and the one card that already has a special place in your heart.
