A previous update introduced a bug:
Verses that have already been counted as typed (for book, Testament, Bible) were being counted again (if typed again); the result is the game could show you have typed more verses than there are for a book or testament if you had typed some of the verses more than once.

This has been corrected.

If you want the game to recount (correct) total verses for each book plus OT, NT and Entire Bible, simply hold down the 's' key while the options menu is active; this will display a "Synchronize Dictionaries" button which you can click to perform the recount and save the result.

You may wonder how the recount is performed so I will explain it here. There are multiple dictionaries in Word. Player Statistics Dictionary holds reference to each verse you type along with the book and chapter the verse belongs to and your best WPM, mistakes, whether you made zero mistakes and efficiency score; this dictionary is the standard because there are no repeats allowed and so a verse can only be entered once, then it can be updated (if a new WPM is better, for instance). Another smaller dictionary called Completed Verses Dictionary holds reference only to the number of verses completed for each book plus OT and NT; this dictionary is the one the bug affected by incrementing the total number of verses completed when a verse had already been completed. So clicking the Synchronize Dictionaries button will perform a count of all verses in Player Statistics Dictionary and use these accurate numbers to correct the Completed Verses Dictionary which supplies the Progress menu and Choose Testament, Choose Book, Choose Chapter and Choose Verse menus with the completed verses to to display.

The steam stats were likewise overestimated. This will no longer occur but the added verses have not been removed so you may reach the achievement before you actually type all the verses (if you type repeat verses).
