I've updated the game with several quality-of-life improvements and am currently upgrading materials, textures, and shaders.
Many new content ideas are still in the works, so stay tuned for more exciting updates!
Fixed Features
- Fixed a setting that reactivated the AI when restarting a Custom Game with two human players (Thank you, Gregory!).
- Fixed the fade-to-black animation still having some light at the end.
- Fixed a rule mistake that sent the opponent's pawn to the House of Water (instead of the House of Beauty) when a pawn was going back from the House of Beauty.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the player from passing their turn when other pawns were on the last special houses beyond the House of Water.
- Fixed the French tutorial labels using incorrect versions.
- Fixed a gamepad issue in the main menu causing the options to change only by moving left or right.
- Fixed the main menu playing a sound when attempting to change an unchangeable option.
- Fixed the pause menu having a blank option.
Updated Features
- Updated the splash screen.
- Updated Tutankhamun's water bottle with improved material.
- Updated the main menu font for several European languages to be nicer and more consistent in size.
- Updated the cascade settings of shadows for an overall better result.
- Updated the tomb with improved texture by remapping all the UVs.
- Updated the Panehesy table model with ebony and ivory.
- Updated the main wood table with gold foil.
- Updated the pawn models of the tutorial board.
- Updated several main materials and textures inside the tomb scene with a new, improved shader. This is a first step, as I plan to update everything else afterward.
- Updated Imenmes board (Wood) with a new temporary shader.
Added Features
- Added torches, stairs, and sand inside the tomb scene (only visible on the highest settings).
- Added the headdress box of Tutankhamun found in his tomb.
- Added wooden vase stoppers on top of the vases.
