Hello castaways. This new patch brings in new weapons and tool tiers, available through mining. We are also starting with an UI overhaul, which will open doors for localization for the next patch.

  • Added mining and smelting.
  • Added new granite, bronze, silver and gold tools and weapons.
  • Added bird snares.
  • Added node-based storage containers that you can add lids to in order to preserve food for longer.
  • Added dragonflies, butterflies and hornets.
  • Added farming patch watering.
  • Added farming patch composting.
  • Added a butterfly net which automatically takes an insect into the inventory.
  • Added insects sound effects.
  • Added small windmill decor.
  • Added denser clouds.


Bug fixes
  • Fixed hover outline of some objects rendering as squares.
  • Fixed vegetation details disappearing on saves.
  • Fixed custom building metal roofs not being able to be placed.
  • Fixed some weapons and tools not being able to be dragged out of the backpack.
  • Fixed chromatic aberration and vignette not completely turned off even with options set as off.
  • Fixed environment quality dropdown not available during gameplay.
  • Fixed ALT + TAB getting the wheel selection menu stuck.
  • Fixed building requirement UI getting too small or too big sometimes.


Quality of life
  • Crabs give crab meat instead of beef.
  • Improved splash screen.
  • Disassemble table looks more DIY
  • Crossbow looks more DIY
  • Spinning wheel looks more DIY
  • Seagull drops feathers, required to craft arrows.
  • Renamed custom building platforms to "roofs"
  • Underwater sound effect transition is more natural instead of cutting in and out instantly.
