Performance
  • Fixed landscape LOD rendering at low resolution.
  • Removed incorrect data layer in Norway.
  • Fixed World Partition failing to load certain tiles spatially.
  • Removed persistent spawning of bandits at guarded chests, causing performance issues.
  • Global illumination off by default to enhance performance (can be toggled in settings).
  • Volumetric clouds are now disabled if the player does not witness an aurora at night.

General
  • New player crafting category, 'workbenches' to clarify crafting progression.
  • Updated text prompt on autocrafting workbenches 'on/off' for clarity.
  • Removed primitive workbench.
  • Moved bed and candle to player crafting list.
  • Candles can no longer be crafted from sticks.
  • Players can craft wax from animal fat to make candles.
  • Using a bed now sets the player respawn.
  • Using a bed now allows the player to pass time.
  • Benches now pass time correctly when interacting.
  • Arrows no longer deal damage to trees or caves.
  • Updated collision radius to stop arrows falling through the ground.
  • Fallen arrows stop moving after a short delay.
  • Fallen arrows now have a longer delay before despawn.
  • Increased basic torch duration to 30 minutes.
  • Build ghosts now automatically clear once the part is placed.
  • Decorative skull spike can now be seen and placed correctly.
  • Updated player hand placement on an advanced stone spear.
  • Removed items in markets glowing at night.
  • Fixed collision issues on abandoned carts preventing access to loot chests.
  • Reduced props on docks for easier navigation.
  • Fixed various foliage and asset placement issues on Skye.

User Interface
  • Updated 'mallet' description to clarify its use to edit or remove building parts.
  • Updated incorrect crafting chain on the primitive pestle.
  • Primitive pestle no longer incorrectly labelled as 'workbench.
  • Logs are no longer incorrectly labelled as sticks when interacting.
  • Signposts are no longer incorrectly labelled on the world map.
  • Updated colour of fast travel markers on the world map.
  • Updated scale and colour of player marker on the world map.
  • Landmarks can be labelled without prompting a popup on the HUD.
  • 'West Point' renamed to 'Vestrströnd'.
  • Fixed map not showing on first use from the player menus.
  • Updated opacity and colour of non-craftable recipes for readability.
  • Added new map icon for 'docks'.
  • Removed incorrect references to the tutorial when requesting to sail to Skye.
  • Removed incorrect audio prompt on certain menus.
  • Added audio and visual cues to show successful crafting.
  • Scrolling inventories no longer switches selected hotbar item.
  • Amount to trade cannot be more than the total in the player inventory.
  • Amount of currently selected items to trade now updates to the new total in the player inventory.
