
Our last update shared the unfortunate news that our backend provider was shutting down and therefore our dedicated servers, matchmaking, stats/leaderboards, and progression unlocks would no longer function.
We have since decided to take a crack re-enabling the player hosted listen servers that originally powered Disc Jam's multiplayer during development. We are happy to announce that with this latest build, player hosted servers have been reenabled! This means that players can jump back in the queue and join matches hosted on individuals' machines.
Unfortunately, a number of features will still be missing such as online stats/leaderboards, the prize machine, and seasons. These features relied on backend services which no longer exist, but at the very least the game is playable online once again.
Time to get back out there and jam!
