Hey everyone,

Tetraphobia is already 3 months in it's early access journey which has flown by! Thanks for everyone who has bought and wish listed the game and special thanks to those who are providing feedback on discord.

This patch is focussed on smoothing out the early game experience and making the combat feel significantly more balanced. Tetraphobia suffered from some game design flaws and an unfair approach to RNG that were making the game more frustrating than fun.

Now onto patch notes!

Tetraphobia Patch Notes:

  • Improved the visuals on the player and enemy to make them clearer to see
  • Completely redesigned the trinket system to make it easier to get earlier powerups
  • Completely redesigned the enemy spawning system to make island spawns feel more balanced
  • Sumo-Rai boss redesigned
  • Go-Pogo boss replaced with 3 smaller enemies
  • Headache boss nerfed
  • Artefacts rebalanced
  • Can no longer escape from the dojo on the tutorial boss
  • Other small bug fixes
