Salutations Runners !


With this update, we adress a whole bunch of issues regarding item, their performances and their late game balances, in order to reinforce drastically their usage and the viability of certain combination. The large majority of items have been patched to a non-linear progression, noted NLP in the patch. It means that the more you have of a specific item, the less bonuses you gain from newly obtained exemplary, up to a hard limit.

Here is the list of balance and fixes :

Legendary items :

  • Horsehoe : Base 1% => up to 10%, and up to 75%(NLP).
  • Scroll : Change from -10 kill require by item to +1 level up by item (no retroactive)
  • Dice : Update info about being non-craftable
  • Mushroom : change scaling up to 100% increase in stats (NLP).


Rare items :

  • Gold Coin : change scaling up to 100% increase in chances (NLP).
  • Warhammer : Change scaling for radius up to a 10m radius, and increase base damage gain from 2.5% to 10% (NLP).
  • Question-marked Dice : Change scaling from a base +15% up to 100% (NLP).
  • Magic Orb : Change scaling from 1% up to 50% and increase initial chance to 10% (NLP).
  • Vaudou Doll : Change base value to 100% and scale up to +25% dmg and radius per item. Moreover, it removes now "only" 99.9% of your life regeneration, remaining rounded up, instead of negating it. The damage is now a hit applying effect on hit.
  • Bottled Cloud : Change scaling down to 10% (NLP).


Uncommon items :

  • Poison Bottle : Change base value to an initial 10% with a scaling of up to 100% (NLP).
  • Gauntlet : Change scaling to an initial 10% chance and up to a 100% scaling (NLP), and increase by 25% the damage reduction.
  • Spiked Mace : Change scaling to an initial 10% chance and up to 75% (NLP).
  • Pillow : Change scaling to an initial 25% and up to 100% (NLP).
  • Sanguine Powder : Change scaling to an initial 25% and up to 1000% (NLP).
  • Ice crystal : Change scaling to an initial 10% chance and up to 100% (NLP).
  • Mirror: Change scaling to an initial 100% and up to 100000% (Note : As monsters deal way less damage than players on average, the boost is necessary)
  • Bombs : Change scaling to +10% per item on radius, and scaling up to +1000% (NLP).


Common items :

  • Reactive Armor : Change damage scaling of the explosion to 50% per item
  • Helmet : Change initial scaling to 10% and up to 90% scaling (NLP).
  • Shoulder Pad : Change initial scaling to 20% and a linear +10% per item
  • Morningstar : Change for a scaling of +25%
  • Iron Boots and Slipper : Change the scaling for an initial +15% and a linear +5% per item
  • Book : Change initial scaling to 25% and up to 1000% (NLP).
  • Rings (all) : Change initial scaling to 10% and up to 90% (NLP).
  • Leather Armor : Change initial scaling to 10% and up to 100% (NLP).
  • Rabbit Charm : Change initial scaling to 10% and up to 90% (NLP).
  • 4 Leaves Clover : Change scaling of +2% per item
  • Feather : Double the effectiveness of the item



With all these changes, the "Hard" mode of the game become way more affordable for runners that have already unlocked few items in other difficulties, and will allow them to tackle the game in higher difficulty and challenges.
