
Hi everyone,
Most of the changes in this patch note are already applied on PC. This patch was mostly catching up with the PC version, yet there are some changes that are specific to consoles. You can read all the changes below :
Crashes
- Fixed a crash that would occur while validating the victory screen when the companions auto-switch feature was activated.
- Fixed a crash that would occur when returning to the domain after a mission.
- Fixed a crash that would occur while targeting an enemy during a companion's movement.
- Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when using the crossbow in "The Sack of Saint Martin" mission.
- Fixed a crash that could happen while overriding a save, using the forge, and immediately returning to the Map of France.
- Fixed a bug that could occur when saving a new appearance for the Beastmaster, making the beast invisible. Note that the beast will still be invisible for now; we are working on a fix to make it visible again.
- Fixed a crash that would occur when trying to launch a mission with a Beastmaster that has an invisible beast from the bug above.
- Fixed a soft lock that could occur when the last enemy of the tutorial died at the same time as a companion.
- Fixed multiple occurrences of crashes that could happen when playing with the companions auto-switch feature.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when hovering over substances on the ground.
- Fixed a soft lock that would occur if a companion died during their turn while having the “Prelude” effect in "The Archpriest" mission.
Domain
- Notification chips are now correctly removed from the Casern when a companion skill is chosen in the Squad Screen after a battle.
- Unique weapon rewards are now correctly displayed in the battle pawn’s tooltip.
- Squad pawns now correctly disappear when returning to the domain without needing to stop skipping days.
- Companions' skills are now always properly assignable on the Squad Screen after a battle. This bug would occur when a cinematic played right after the mission.
- It is now impossible to train a weapon mastery that is already at max level.
- Removed a brief appearance of the “Recruit” button that could occur when training a companion.
- Added a missing customization color slot in the Fabric color of the Alchemist.
- Fixed an issue where squads would disappear when paying to purge a Faction while having sent a squad to purge this Faction. Players in this situation will see their squad return to their Domain.
- It is now impossible to pay to purge a Faction if a squad has already been sent to purge this Faction.
- Statistics with a value of 0 are now correctly displayed in the character sheet.
- The class icon of a prisoner is now correctly displayed in the post-battle prisoner screen.
- The input to go back to the previous screen when in the squad preparation menu is now displayed.
- Removed the “Hide locked formulas” option when buying consumables in the squad preparation screen.
- The “History behind the story” text is now displayed in the correct language when changing the language while in the codex.
- When leaving a building to go back to the domain view, the exited building is now correctly highlighted.
- Secondary mission pawns can no longer spawn at the same place as a story mission pawn.
- The pawn for the mission "Redemption" is now correctly placed around Bordeaux on the Map of France.
- The description of the mission "The Sack of Saint Martin" now includes the correct location of the mission.
- The purge button in the faction panel should now always be available if the conditions are met.
- The recommended companion level is now correctly displayed when checking the battle objective on the squad selection screen.
Combat
- It should now be impossible for players to taunt their companions.
- In Escort or Rescue Missions, the target is now always classless instead of sometimes being considered a Duelist with an unusable weapon set.
- Removed a wrongly walkable tile in the mission "An Intoxicating Outbreak."
- Fixed occurrences where the "Enemy Turn" UI could sometimes be visible during cinematics.
- The damage from the skill Deft Hands is now properly displayed in the combat log.
- The FX of enemy healing consumables is now properly displayed on the target instead of the user.
- Prisoners’ effects that only affect a specific class now give their bonus to every companion of that class. Previously, this worked only for the first companion of the class. This modification also applies to previously captured prisoners.
- In the "Redemption" mission, AI now takes less time to act.
- The "Enemy Turn" UI is now correctly displayed when an enemy uses an interactive object.
- The number of health points recovered when using a healing ability is now correctly displayed above the target.
- Damage done by afflictions is now properly displayed in the combat log. Previously, it sometimes didn't show if the target was killed.
- The skills "Rampage" and "Invigorating" of the Double-Headed Axe now have the correct healing percentage displayed in their descriptions.
- Fixed some cases where the targeting tooltips didn't appear correctly.
- The "Rings of Death" now displays its skill descriptions when hovered over in the combat log.
- The Order Emissaries now always have the Order colors instead of the colors of another faction.
- When loading a mission, destroyed half-covers should stay destroyed instead of reappearing and slowly sinking into the ground.
- The exclamation mark above the head of an enemy that spotted a companion should now always be removed.
- Fixed instances where the movement range preview was inaccurate, resulting in some tiles being displayed as reachable when they were not.
- Removed a wrong movement path displayed when targeting an enemy diagonally below the companion.
- Removed the possibility to hover over an interactive object in the fog of war.
- Action and movement points will no longer blink in the portraits after switching companions.
- The animation of the skill "In My Web" of the Flayer now works as intended.
- The bear can no longer change its stance after using the Overwatch or Defensive Posture skills.
- Order’s Emissaries now have the correct spawn chance rates.
- Fixed an issue where it was impossible or very complicated to validate skill or movement.
- Hovering an enemy unit in the fog of war will no longer display his character tooltip
- Recruited companions will now start missions with the correct amount of health (this will only affect companions recruited after this patch)
- Removed the broken tooltip appearing when hovering a Tainted Soul in the mission “The Archpriest”
- Fixed some performances issues in missions with a lot of enemies
- Fixed some unwalkable tile in Secondary missions when ladder and staircase would end on the same tile.
- Fixed an issue where some objectives in the mission “An Intoxicating Outbreak” were now working correctly
- Centered the damage values displayed on some skills in the attack tooltip.
- The Overwatch state is now correctly removed when the user is taking damage
- Fixed a color coding error where some beneficial effects were red in the preview tooltips.
- Fixed an inconsistency on the highlight feature when enemies moved out of the fog of war.
Options
- Removed a default text that could be displayed on an overwritten save.
- The Warning message “Changes in progress” is now displayed when changing options but trying to select continue without applying and saving the changes
- The Riposte Buff description is now displayed in the Help menu
Other
- The Pause button is now the only button usable to skip the splashscreen
- The correct amount of wounds is now displayed when selecting a difficulty in new game
