Welcome cosmic tourists! We are happy to welcome you to our Seaside retreat, on the Bleak Coast, where you will find beautiful waves, plenty of starving slimes, and a brand new implement of destruction!! I won’t have to remind you, STAY OFF THE GRASS.

With this update, our first new map is arriving with a new style for our enemies. We are also building up our build system, with a new weapon property system. With this system, weapons will have properties that determine what effect they will have on the battlefield, and steer them toward specific Artifacts early on.

Additionally, with a variety of performance improvements, we have been able to increase enemy spawn rates, meaning there will be some serious horde moments ahead of you.

Additions
  • Added Bleak Coast Map
  • Added 1 New Gun (Orik’s Flightline)
  • Added a weapon property system, which changes the balancing of every gun in the game, and replaces mundane artifacts. There are still mundane Boons and Ichors
  • Added ability to switch between a Pixel Art and Non-Pixel Art Font (We plan on adding an HD font later)

Ability Balance
  • Cyclical Coils: Damage loss per Coil 5% -> 4%
  • Renewed Agility: Chance on Dash to activate: 25% -> 30%


Enemy Balance
  • Increased the number of enemies on the field at once by roughly 3x-6x this is thanks to the performance improvements
  • Enemy Speed Scaling no longer applies to bosses
  • Modified the spawn weight for all enemies
  • Rebalanced soul worth of every enemy
  • Rebalanced health of every enemy
  • Rebalanced speed of every enemy
  • Enemies no longer get a decaying 4x speed boost when they spawn
  • Boomer: friendly fire blast damage 10 -> 48
  • Boomer: friendly fire blast damage now scales with health scaling
  • Mudder: Increased the size of the Mud patch
  • Mudder: Mud disappearing faster when applying stacks
  • Fire Sprite: Projectile Speed 120 -> 210

Gameplay Balance
  • The souls required are now exponential rather than linear
  • Map Objectives no longer move when too far offscreen
  • Re-balanced the Rune Drop Rate
  • Trinkets and Ichor Flasks no longer have a reduced pickup range
  • All Trinkets Stats 1% -> 0.1%
  • Trinket Chances are now Base Trinket Chance rather than % Trinket Chance
  • Blast Damage can now Critically Hit
  • DoT Damage can now Critically Hit
  • Reduce base projectile speed by 25%
  • It now takes 5% Ichor flasks for an Ichor after the first Ichor
  • Speed Min/Max Range 10 - 160 -> 20 - 200
  • There is now a max size for projectiles it is capped at 50 x 50
  • Rebalanced Tribulations


Changes
  • Updated the graphics of Souls
  • Trinkets and Ichor Flasks now give experience like Souls do and will spawn instead of souls, if they are rolled
  • Removed Dash Speed Trinket
  • Madrugar only needs 720 Fire Rate to unlock rather than 800 Fire Rate


Fixes
  • Fixed some enemies moving faster than intended
  • Fixed only a single trinket of the same type giving benefits
  • Fixed some graphical wobbliness on the gun sprite
  • Fixed bombs sometimes not as damaging as intended
  • Fixed knockback on damage taken not working as intended
  • Fixed Shrike passive working if you only had 1 projectile
  • Fixed when pressing resume, it didn’t hide the stats and artifacts panels as it should
  • Fixed an issue when a projectile bounced it would ignore range
  • Fixed projectiles sometimes ignoring their range
