this update should fix the save-issue introduced in the last beta-update.
To reiterate, I've ported the game to a new version of GMS2, so performance should be better.
I've tested it, so most crashes should be fixed? The engine handles particles in a different way, so I'm not a 100 percent sure.
But there are some actual fixes in here, too. Like (as previously mentioned):
ːsteamthumbsupː Guns will now reload on their own if you keep jamming the fire button! ːsteamthumbsupː
How soon this delayed reload will occur depends on the chosen difficulty.
Also, a few bug fixes regarding reloading and player-select.
A few really small changes to balancing..
AND the first heart-container in the campaign (level 2) will now always show up, loot-luck be damned.
It is tucked away in a cornfield, just after crossing the bridge, right before the entrance to the forest.
